There is renewed scrutiny over Northern Ireland's digital patient record system - Encompass - following allegations that some health staff accessed confidential patient information when they had no legitimate reason to do so. One health worker has told UTV that administrative staff in her own health trust inappropriately accessed her medical records when she was hospitalised. Deborah McAleese has the story.

Darling little Thimble has been through some rough days, but is slowly starting to recover now, so I've begun treating his ringworm. Ringworm is a fungal infection, the same as Athlete's Foot, and is highly contageous, so stringent hygiene practice is necessary. All equipment, bedding and pen is sterilised daily, to prevent cross infection. Thimble is losing lots of spines and while not at a worrying stage, the resultant incessant itching is a stress he could do without, in his weakened state. We all feel much better - and do better, when comfy.
