Your movement starts from the ground up. If your feet, ankles, and hips aren’t stable, the rest of your body has to compensate — often leading to poor movement patterns, imbalance, and unnecessary strain. These types of routines focus on building control where it matters most:

🚨 Trevor Bauer: Pitching Drill • Keep your back foot fully grounded • Hips & shoulders start square • Hips fire first then shoulders follow ⭐️ Great visualization of what “Hip-Shoulder Separation” means and how it affects arm speed.

Comment “BOOM” and I’ll send you the free training to add 20 yards 👇 If your drives feel weak and you’re spinning out through impact, your transition move is the problem. Most golfers rush the downswing by firing the shoulders and hips before the weight even shifts. It feels

Strong hips. Better movement. Pain-free progress. ✨ Tight hips can limit your performance and increase discomfort. Spend a few minutes each day improving your hip mobility for better strength, flexibility, and movement.

This week, Nick Faldo shares a simple but incredibly effective drill to improve your golf swing using nothing more than a couch. The goal? Keep both knees lightly connected to the cushion as you rotate through the swing. This teaches the proper relationship between rotation and weight transfer, helping you create a more powerful and efficient motion without excessive sliding. Want to take the drill a step further? Pair it with the Power Shift Board. Its built-in audible feedback lets you hear when you're transferring your pressure correctly, giving you instant confirmation that you're moving the right way. Train the feel. Hear the feedback. Build a more powerful golf swing.

#PuntFactory Teach Tape 📝 I have said for YEARS - “Shoulders forward, arm relaxed.” Why do I say that? Putting your shoulders forward moves your hips back - think of EVERY movement you do in the weight room to become stronger… cleans, squats, box-jumps, deadlifts etc. THEY. ALL. MIMIC. THIS. MOTION. You are spending that much time under the bar to do what… stand tall & NOT translate onto the field? Shoulders forward = hips back = POWER Shoulders tall = hips underneath or in front of you = LESS HIP EXTENSION AND LESS POWER — Arm relaxed = leverage By keeping your drop arm relaxed you keep the ballin your wheelhouse - think of it as throwing yourself a fastball down the middle. Pushing the ball out to your foot & having your drop arm extended = having to shoot your hips forward at contact & LOSING LEVERAGE! — SHOULDERS FORWARD, ARM RELAXED Keep it up fellas 🤙🏼 PS - if you want to improve, hit me up for virtual film sessions or get down to Nashville to train with the best 👈🏼

And we do our seated db lateral raises: - chest proud - shoulders depressed - raise weight 30 degrees in the scapular plane - lead with your pinkies - control, control, control on the way down - explode with control on the way up - no pauses at the bottom

This is what it looks like when someone puts on more weight than they can handle Remember: NO ONE actually cares how much weight you’re lifting on any movement and it’s ALWAYS in your best interest to reduce the weight if that’s what’s needed to do the movement PROPERLY

Monkey Feet are one of the best fitness purchases you can make. Weak/short psoas muscles are a sneaky cause of lower back pain. It’s counterintuitive, but the psoas *shrinks and tightens* when it gets weak, which creates problems in the lumbar spine and hips. Hanging knee raises are dual-action, strengthening *and* elongating the psoas and the entire core. Start with no weight and once you can do 3 sets of 15, begin adding weight. It doesn’t take much because your legs are big levers. You’ll be amazed at how good your back feels afterward.

Power and explosiveness come from proper technique, using body leverage and full rotation of your hips, shoulders and legs. Here, Jaime Munguia drives through the target and shifts his weight on each punch with bended knees to get the desired snap on his shots 💥 #boxraw

The Dumbbell Curtsy Lunge A fantastic movement for developing the legs as well as your sense of balance. Most people only train in the sagittal plane: forward and back. Squats, lunges, deadlifts. This can lead to issues or compensation movement patterns. But real-world athleticism and movement demands more! Your glutes and hips are designed to handle lateral and rotational shear forces, which is the kind you experience cutting, pivoting, or changing direction at speed. If you never train these planes, you're leaving stability and muscle on the table. The curtsy lunge introduces frontal plane loading and hip adductor recruitment that standard lunges miss. This builds the lateral hip stabilizers like the glute medius, TFL and adductors that protect your knees and unlock more powerful movement. Add this to your leg day for complete lower body development and bulletproof hips. Wearing full Sol Dept. 100% cotton.

Great stretch for people who sit at desks. It's called the Double band lat stretch. Loop 2 resistance bands (or towels) over a pull-up bar or fixed anchor above shoulder height. Grab both ends, hinge forward, and let your arms extend straight out in front of you. From here, slowly rotate side to side, feeling the stretch deepen through your lats and hips with each turn. Do this for 30 seconds to 60 seconds total. Your lats get chronically tight from sitting, and tight lats pull your shoulders forward, creating that rounded hunchback posture. This stretch opens them up and releases your hips at the same time. Do it daily and your body will thank you.
