Where in Bus Driver School do they teach drivers to sit their left wheels in the cycle lane? Do they spend a full morning practising this?

Perhaps the Bus is too wide to for that poor excuse of a lane which is set aside for motor vehicles? Therefore, the driver is positioning themself in a position which considers the safety of the majority of road users
What is the point of putting a cycle lane on a road that can just fit a bus safely between the kerb and the centre line? It’s not all about bloody cyclists! So you’d be happy for him to clip oncoming traffic as long as he wasn’t in your precious bloody cycle lane!!
Rule 221 to 223 of the HWC. Larger vehicles need more room, give them priority and watch for them turning. I'd never pass a bus on the left cycle lane or not. Visibility from the mirrors is appalling and the viewpoint to look over your shoulder is often obstructed by passengers
Where in cycling school to they teach cyclists to ride on pavement, dinging bells at pedestrians with an empty cycle lane to their right? Do they spend a full morning practising this?
I know it's hard for cyclists to understand, but sometimes you have to slow down because slower moving road users are blocking a safe path ahead. Be patient, wait for a safe opportunity to pass. 😉
As usual missing the bigger issue. Not safe to overtake on the inside so wait in turn . Also a good position for bus to maintain the safety of all road users
Buses are a far more efficient use of space than bikes. So why not!
It's not a solid white line. The Highway Code says its allowed.
Stops you getting squashed sadly. Dont you remember the slogan “please let the bus go first” course you do but that doesn’t apply to sad little men like you does it?
