I completely agree as a matter of principle. But as a matter of passion, I can't help recalling John Eastman, Michael Cohen, and Rudolph Giuliani who were or are being persecuted, in part, for rendering legal services to an unpopular person or cause. The attorney client privilege was abused. Major law firms that proudly represented jihadis in GTMO held their nose at representing Trump. I hope Trump backs off most of this lawfare and makes success his best revenge, as he promised. But maybe a few knocks on the head are what it takes to properly focus the attention here.

Where was FIRE when Dems exercised lawfare against everything associated with Republicans? I guess then you were on the side of the angels supporting the use of those lawyers?
