This is a free airliner for the Trump family. It will sit on the tarmac for a while, it will be deemed impossible to modify to match the requirements of @POTUS, it will eventually be released to the president's estate or library, whichever comes first.

Aren’t the VC-25Bs being produced also converted/ modified airplanes that were originally civilian aircraft? If that is the case & their delivery being 2027, isnt the likelihood of the Qatar 747 being converted before the VC-25Bs basically 0%?

I've heard it'd cost the taxpayer another $800 million smackeroonies for it to be refitted. And like you say, it may not even be ready in time for his use—as president. What's even worse than that is, it's for Trump's use only. Meaning, no other president will get to use it. LOL

Freshly painted in a striking new red, white, and blue livery with gold accents, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" lettering, and the American flag on the tail, it's a beautiful update to the presidential fleet. This Qatar-donated jet (converted by L3Harris) will bridge the gap until the two all-new VC-25Bs arrive around 2028.
