Such russian attacks are not successful against Ukraine's military, which is why Ukraine's military output is still growing. They keep happening to make Ukrainians cower in fear, it's terrorism and psychological warfare. But there you are, you live, you learn, Ukraine will win.

Hopefully Trump will eventually figure out that he's been played for an utter fool, with Russian launching 16 times as many Drone attacks against Kyiv in June of 2025, under Trump, than they did in June of 2024, when weak and incompetent Joe Biden was President. They obviously feared a reaction from Biden far more than they fear a reaction from Trump. A somewhat interesting possibility is that Putin might be trying to goad Trump into doing something so drastic that it will be a justifiable reason for Russia to withdraw with a loss. We all kind of know the only way to actually end the conflict is with a complete Russian defeat, but the Russian government couldn't survive if that defeat came from the backwards Nazi khokhols. To withdraw with honor the Ukrainian counter-attack has to come from an opponent with overwhelming numbers and might (The US and NATO unleashing what Russia could claim was all their combined power), confirming what Moscow had said all along about NATO being an aggressive and expansionist Nazi-run organization, with Russia only surviving their assault because of Putin's brilliant leadership and the resolute will of the Russian government. Moscow marks it down as a win and it keeps their army from bleeding out. Or Putin thinks Trump is a chump who will never get a clue about what is really going on.
