This fight between Batman and owlman is a perfect example of Batman’s physicals being “above normal humans” but still leaving room for his humanity to play a role in the story. For context owlman has a relative skill set to Batman, but his suit enhances his physicals to Wonder Woman level. This is why he says “you should’ve sent your flying man” he also overpowered Diana in the movie. Despite this Batman is still able to not only withstand a beating from him but also use his skill ,agility(which we never see in live action) and tech to outmaneuver , outsmart him, and save the day. If you people who want Batman to just be a regular dude had it your way he would’ve died first hit 😭😭 Batman is a SUPERHERO, despite being human his training, skills, and intelligence allow him to be qualified for a team like the justice league. If you water those elements of Batman down he genuinely has no place on a team like the justice league. This is what we want from the DCU Batman and it isn’t unreasonable or far fetched for Batman’s character at all.

The scene in The Batman where he first emerges from the shadows and beats up the thugs in the train station was inspired by Goodfellas - specifically the moment where Henry Hill pistol-whips his neighbor. Matt Reeves explains: "I wanted that moment where he says “I'm Vengeance” and Rob comes out and you see him as this Batman for the first time, I wanted it to be like that moment, a shocking moment, in Goodfellas when Henry Hill…the neighbour has assaulted Karen who he's dating, and he gets so angry you see him drive up across the street from the neighbour. He gets out of the car, they look at him coming, and he takes out his revolver, and he beats this guy senselessly. It's shocking, and at that moment you realize the depth of his rage, and just how dangerous he can be. So I wanted Batman at this stage of the movie to kind of shock the audience, and for people to say like “Okay well what kind of Batman is this?” and to see that he was a Batman who acted from this very visceral personal point of view - that this was all about vengeance." Say what you want about Andy Muschietti and Christina hodson on brave and the bold, but this is how Andy Muschietti showcased a 70 year old Batman’s capabilities, so imagine prime Batman. Also with Gunn helping, as well as notes from the likes of Drew Goddard who’s in the DCU writing room, I have complete faith the script will turn out good, and minus the one lasso scene the Batman moments in the flash objectively weren’t poorly written.
