From then on, I lost a lot of my mental strength. As soon as I made my debut, I thought I was the best and I thought I was in first place. That’s why those aspirations, that tenacity, and that something about me - my self-worth - was so high. But after that, it was destroyed in an instant. 🐥 I lost a lot of my self-worth, and I started to feel like I was worth nothing. I started to doubt if there was any reason for me to be in this group. When I feel that kind of self-disgust, I think it’s important how I overcome those thoughts. In my early days of my debut, I think I only had a pretty packaging on me. I used to think, ‘I’m doing well, what more can I do?’ But after that pretty packaging came off, I had nothing inside. So I think it took me a long time to fill myself up. The fact that it’s not even addressed, I think, is a major oversight. And I think that for young people, it was a huge part of the environment. I can tell you for myself as a candidate during that cycle, there’s no way that it was an ignorable issue or totally immaterial. So I think that it’s a real disservice to not speak to that or include or assess that.

🐰 as i mentioned earlier, this album is based on the motif of a golden moment. if you think about it, from the time when i was called golden maknae of BTS to my first solo under my own name 🐰i think it was really the countless journeys, countless hours and countless experiences that made me who i am 🐰 and so i wanted to make sure that this album was the best representation of who i am today. so the album is called "golden" for the same reason.

🦊 i revealed the tracklist myself and there are six songs, out of which i participated in making 5 songs 🦊 i worked on them for a really long time, i think it was a couple of months 🦊 i really beat my brains while working on it 🦊 but i think it came out well and since it was a solo album, i was able to capture a lot of original expressions, emotions and vibes so i really liked that 🙂‍↕️
