Thank you for your feedback on the engine I’ve been working on, I’m glad you liked it! As part of my progress, I’ve implemented 8-directional movement, an attack system, a user interface, animations, and a 3-hit combo. ToDo, jump attack and improving the enemy AI. If you already have it, just update it. - From there, you can install the model directly and start using it. Still exploring what this small but powerful model can do :)

School ball is coming to a close, and you start to realize that some of these seniors I’ve played baseball with or against since I was 4 years old. Some of these guys I’ve played T ball with. And in just a few weeks…. It will be over. I won’t see them in the hall next year, I won’t see them in class, they won’t be in the clubhouse next year, they won’t be suited up to play in practice or games. They will be gone. Gone on to bigger and better things- off to different colleges around the country. Some will be playing college ball others will just be starting their next chapter somewhere else. In the end…. It’s been a great ride- proud to be your teammate and friend. Don’t take one moment for granted and on to the next chapter. Love this game. Unfortunately, Tonfa sucks in Nioh 3 for me, because Tonfa without Fluxes are half the fun :/ Tonfa really gives its best with Fluxes. They were one of my favorite weapons in Nioh 1 & 2, super fun to play, and now they feel really frustrating 😢 This basically is my almost only main complain about Nioh 3, otherwise it's a 11/10 game for me. The main issue why I simply can't enjoy Tonfa on Nioh 3 is muscle memory. My fingers are so used to do Fluxes 2, they want to do Fluxes 2 — and not being able to do it makes me mad. Especially because Tonfa animations and moveset are still very similar to the previous games, so my body sees the animation and instinctively tries to Flux… but Ninja Style can’t do Fluxes 😭 With weapons like Kusarigama, which got a heavy rework, this problem doesn’t exist: animations are different, so muscle memory doesn’t clash. With Tonfa, instead, everything looks familiar, but a core mechanic is missing. Honestly, they should have either: -heavily reworked Tonfa animations for Ninja Style (for example somthing similar to Ninja Gaiden Tonfa Moveset) or -kept Tonfa in Samurai Style with stances and Fluxes like in Nioh 1 & 2 I don’t want Tonfa to disappear from Ninja Style — some people might enjoy them there — but I really wish Tonfa were available in Samurai Style as well, so everyone could enjoy the weapon in their own way. Please Team NINJA, give us back our beloved Tonfa in Samurai Style too 😭

Today is my birthday!🥳🎂🎈 I usually don’t announce it on socials, but this year I’m launching my new Chikai Films website! My birthday wish is for you to subscribe to my new YT channel!🙏 (link in comment below) The new site is where my film work will reside. I’ve found that my film practice is very distinct from my art practice and it needed its own home. I’ll be posting new short films on the YT channel and the vertical shorts that you may have already seen here on X. I’ve realized that the characters I’ve created in my shorts is a direct reflection of my inner monologue and they also happen to be AI agents that I’ve created within my cinematic AI workflow that I have given names too. It should be a fun way to see what is going through my mind as I make my films. Thanks for all of your support!

In my last post, someone said the animations looked laggy 👀 Turns out… they were right but only on simulator. I’d been testing on Rork simulator + my own simulator the whole time → UI felt choppy. So I spent time optimizing animations with Opus 4.7. Then I built it on a real device (iPhone 17 Pro Max)… And damn, smooth af. Almost zero lag. Now the app is ~80% done. I’m already using it daily at the gym. Even had a few gym bros ask: “yo what app is that?” Feels like I’m already 50% there lol 🤟
