Today I added elements that can hurt both the player and the enemies, with different damage types and even adding status effects. #gamedev This can be used for big fires like in the video, but also traps like spike walls, hanging axes or spinning blade posts.

We recently implemented Divine Arts for #AlabasterDawn that you can use just like Combat Arts in CrossCode. The first one causes the "Brittle" status condition that neutralizes hit type resistance - allowing you to break enemies with whatever weapon you like. #gamedev

Built with C and raylib, 100k enemies + 5k bullets, its not just enemy-bullet collision, theres also some enemy-enemy separation that happens, it uses a spatial grid internally, i havent made all the optimizations yet, not even render culling, i think i can push it more

V2 of the Sega logo - I was always thinking about the red - but needed the animation completed first before I pulled the trigger. Still need my wall splat SFX. Might swap out the extra splats for the enemies. Red is my favorite color. That is all. #splatterhouse #sega #genesis #megadrive #gamedev #indiedev #retrogames
