carlos on the collision that ruined his race: “up until then, we’d had a good start and a good race pace. during the 10 laps the team let me push, i was lapping in the 18s while the rest of the midfield was doing 19s, so we were having a good race for the few laps i was able to push. we had two or four points in the bag, and suddenly on that restart i had two cars behind me that looked like they were risking their lives or their racing careers on a restart in monaco with 8 laps to go, and they made it to the loews corner. yeah, the one on the inside, i think it was nico, ran me off track. unusual, because he’s so experienced and knows that in monaco at turn 6 everyone has to brake too hard because of the concertina effect. it’s very rare for someone with that much experience to be able to run you off the track in a corner like that.”

This right here is one of the coolest experiences ive ever had at a race track. Pouring sleet, cars throwing water while ripping the wall. Half the stadium was lined up on the fence to watch.

Seen a lot of stick on here for Paddy Brennan for his ride on Northern Air and I wanted to watch it just to say to the idiots that it’s what you deserve betting on a maiden hurdle hurdle for a horse first run over hurdles. They are almost schooling them and giving them experience on first run over hurdles or trying to get a mark so you’re just thick for betting a horse first time up over hurdles. I watched it anyway and wtf IT IS ACTUALLY SHOCKING Takes a pull on it most of the race and even a pull 2 out and never ever tried to win the race and finished off the race so well you’d have to think what the fuck was Paddy Brennan doing. He made 0 effort to win the race and it was actually obvious from the off what he was doing because he had him held up 10 lengths off the pace with the outsiders. Paddy never intended to win the race from the off

November 7th, 2021, the Cup Series Championship Race. On lap 6 in turn 3, Ricky Stenhouse Jr would get into the back of Corey Lajoie. This would cause Lajoie to come up into Bubba Wallace, causing Wallace to spin out and hit the outside wall. Kyle Larson would go on to win the race. #nascar #phoenix #crash

Romain Grosjean, Pato O’Ward, and Alexander Rossi were among the drivers caught up in a major multi-car wreck during Practice 7 for the 2026 Indianapolis 500. The 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 takes place on Sunday, May 24, and you can catch all the action live on FOX.

🇮🇹 1990 Italian Grand Prix Car 11 🇬🇧 Derek Warwick - Lotus 102 Lamborghini V12 On the first lap of the race, while battling with Mauricio Gugelmin, Warwick lost downforce at the exit of the Parabolica corner. His Lotus hit the armco barrier at approximately 150 mph. The car shed pieces, bounced back onto the track, and flipped over, eventually sliding to a stop upside down in the middle of the track. It was an unbelievable sight to see Derek emerge from the car and then run down the pitlane to get the spare Lotus. Due to the race being only one lap old and a red flag shown Derek was able to start the race again but would only complete 15 laps due to a clutch issue with the car. 🎥 Formula 1 👏🏻👏🏻 #italy #f1 #lotus #monza

This was one of the craziest sequences I’ve ever seen at a racetrack. I’ve seen a couple different post about this on here and it’s blowing up on FB, so just informing the X/Twitter world. Last night was the 50th Annual 3-Hour Figure 8 Championship at the Indianapolis Speedrome, it paid $50,000 to win. These are a full blown “Outlaw Super Late Model” (or atleast our version of them) with these cars weighing 2,450 pounds, 10” tires, and some pushing 650-700 HP and costing more than $50,000 to build. With around 4 minutes left and over 400 laps of racing, Jeffrey Shackelford (track champion, #28) and Mark Tunny (Tunny’s are the family who’ve been out here forever and have dominated for decades, Mark has won a ton of these 3-Hour races and other bigger races, #3T) we’re still on the lead lap racing for the lead. Jeffrey had gotten into Mark with around 10 minutes left but both were able to keep going, then the below incidents happen. Mark gets back into Jeffrey and spins Jeffrey out (looked like a racing deal,) and then Dana Tunny (Mark’s Brother who is over 200 laps down at this point) comes from across the track to finish Jeffrey off. Jeffrey gets out and starts kicking Dana, and then in the pits apparently a 400-person fight broke out when Dana swerved to hit Jeffrey’s crew according to IMPD report. Dana has been taken to jail and charged with a misdemeanor and a felony. (Credit, Cody Hardcastle, Brandon Acree, Ashley Schafer on FB for videos.)

After a long time, cars built between 1991 and 2000 will finally be able to participate in official championships dedicated to them, thanks to the new FIA regulations. The Peugeot 306 Maxi of the IKE Racing team is one of the cars that is emerging in the FIA Historic Rally Championship, with a debut winning race a few weeks ago, and we at Assetto Corsa wanted to include it in Assetto Corsa Rally to celebrate this initiative and the love we have for motorsport and Young Timer cars.
