While many around the league don’t expect any linebackers to be drafted tonight, if there is one, it certainly could be #TexasAM’s Edgerrin Cooper. Cooper is the most complete LB in the 2024 draft class. He’s shown to be: 1️⃣an elite athlete 2️⃣a consistent and impactful run defender 3️⃣a capable and efficient blitzer, and 4️⃣able to use his size and bend to disrupt in pass protection As a run defender, he finished with an 87.6 PFF grade, highest among any expected draft linebackers in this year’s draft class. That includes 15 TFLs or no gain plays. As you can see (🎥), his downhill force plus balance and control allows him to consistently win in the run game As a pass rusher, he had 7 sacks on the year, 4 of which came from playing on the line of scrimmage. When lined up on the line of scrimmage, he generated a pressure on over 30% of his pass rush snaps. Elite ‼️ And in coverage, he finished with a top-10 coverage grade int eh country last season (per PFF College) among LBs lined up in the box. My son’s one good kidney is failing. Please pray for Caleb’s transplant surgery. As of this last appointment we are officially in the process of scheduling Caleb’s kidney transplant. This will be Caleb’s 6th surgery in his 3 years on this earth, and by far the most serious. He has some rather complicated complications that heighten the possibility of rejection among other issues. You can specifically be praying that his bladder (which has not been connected or functioning since his first major surgery) actually functions properly and doesn’t end up damaging his new kidney. My wife and I are consistently tempted to Fear and anxiety for our son’s future, but God has remained faithful in comforting us and giving us faith in his redemptive promises. If you want to help… Please pray for a successful surgery with no complications. Please pray that my wife and I increase in faith as we face these trials. Also pray that God continues to provide for our mounting financial needs related to Caleb‘s ongoing medical attention. 🖤 WOW! Another amazing friend of Nolan Wells speaks: Tracestin Shepherd. I’ll call him T. With Brandon Tatum Part 5: 🖤 Mom said this wasn’t one of Nolan’s close friends (yet again), yet he parked cars at Nolan’s house for weeks, spent Spring Break with him, and traveled with him. 🖤 The beach fight. T got into a fight after a man inserted himself into him and his girlfriend’s discussion, took a swing at T, and the 2 fought. Later, Warren’s younger brother, Carter, got into a separate one-on-one fight with that SAME man. Nolan was not part of the fight. 🖤 It makes me wonder if Nolan was targeted later because he was with this friend group—or if that same man later inserted himself into Nolan’s conversation with Katie. 🖤 No obvious signs of a fight, THOUGH, per ME. Only the red discoloration on the back of Nolan’s neck, and part of his neck is still being retained by the first medical examiner. There could be medical explanations, but a couple of my guy friends wondered if maybe Nolan had been choked out. 🖤 Last sighting by T: Nolan and Katie were walking toward Wyatt’s boat while T headed to his uncle’s boat. T didn’t say Nolan was getting on the boat or leaving. Katie remains part of the timeline. 🖤 T says the “Give me my effing phone” voice is his, not Nolan’s. Nolan’s coach also said it wasn’t Nolan’s voice. 🖤 T said they searched with Wyatt the next day. I wish he’d said which boat. I’m assuming the 18-foot Palm Beach, since the 22-footer reportedly had water issues—but that’s only my assumption. Lastly, why aren’t we considering that Nolan may have gotten onto someone else’s boat and something happened there? Or that he simply got himself into trouble in the water? What if, under the influence of alcohol, he was injured and tried swimming to shore? Is that why he was found face down? Maybe he drank too much and suffered alcohol poisoning. Maybe someone put something in his drink. Maybe that’s why we’re not seeing clearer answers yet, and why toxicology could be so important. 🔗Link
