In Florida, 74-year-old Richard Wilbanks became a hero after risking his life to save his puppy from an alligator. While walking his three-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Gunner, near a pond behind his home, an alligator suddenly lunged from the water and grabbed the puppy. Without hesitation, Wilbanks jumped in, wrestled the alligator, and forced its jaws open; he famously kept his cigar clenched in his mouth the entire time. Despite injuring his hands and needing a tetanus shot, he freed Gunner, who later recovered after veterinary care.

Exciting scenes yesterday in Rinville, Co Galway with an extremely rare #angelshark sighted by a local kayaking group, in the shores surrounding the Marine Institute HQ! We are delighted to have confirmed the sighting of one of the rarest sharks in Europe. Ronan Breathnach and Colm O’Loan @irishcharcoal are the two kayak instructors from the Galway Bay Sailing Club who shot this footage. What a great day out for the group of 12 budding marine scientist of the future that they took out on the water yesterday! Not only did they get to explore the marine environment in a non-invasive way, but they also got to see a critically endangered marine animal. #Marine #kayaking #diving #Galway #Fish #Shark

You want to hear something that will break your worldview? There is a valley of whales in Egypt, in the Sahara Desert, called Wadi Al-Hitan. The mainstream has convinced you that the Sahara was covered by a shallow ocean millions of years ago, and that because the Sahara is all sand today, the wind supposedly blew the sand away and uncovered the whales and the marine life. But there is one problem… the Sahara was not a desert 6,000 years ago, and the soil was not sand. So how can the wind blow sand away for millions of years to reveal fossils, when the Sahara has been sand for only the last 6,000 years? Why were the Sphinx and the pyramids buried in sand, instead of sitting on top of the Sahara if the wind was supposedly uncovering 20-million-year-old fossils? They are lying to you. In the recording, one of Putin’s security guards can be heard referring to the crowd as “extras.” Then again, it’s hardly a secret that random people haven’t been allowed anywhere near Putin for years without extensive background checks and clearance, while his rare appearances among the public increasingly resemble a poorly rehearsed stage production. Still, letting something like that slip on camera is unprofessional even by those standards.

Today was an absolutely amazing day! My good friend Diligent Denizen 🇺🇸 and I were out at Starbase, relaxing and hunting for treasures. While strolling along the beach, I decided to take in the view of the ocean when something unusual caught my eye. As I walked closer, I realized it was a rare, intact heat tile from SpaceX’s Starship 6 from yesterday’s flight along with smaller pieces. I was completely blown away as this was a rare and incredible find is not just a treasure but a piece of history that I’ll cherish forever.
