And when those lakes are up in the mountains, it can take a plane or a helicopter to get the live fish to the water. But in many cases, these very lakes never had any fish in them to begin with. And adding these non-native fish can have ripple effects on the entire ecosystem.

How many dogs fit in a police car? Three German Shepherds took a brief adventure around the area of Bayou Gulch Rd. and Parker Rd. after getting out of their home. Deputy Cross quickly located the dogs and safely reunited them with their owner. The pups were unharmed and happily back where they belong. Thank you to Deputy Cross and our community members who helped ensure a safe and positive outcome for everyone involved.

While visiting the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, I lowered my underwater camera beneath the bridge connecting Nassau and Paradise Island to see what was hiding below the surface, and it didn't disappoint. The bridge pilings were covered with life, from colorful parrotfish, queen angelfish, blue tangs, butterflyfish, grunts, and squirrelfish to plenty of other fascinating reef species. In this narrated video, I identify many of the fish I encountered and share some interesting facts about their behavior and the important role they play in the reef ecosystem. Come explore the underwater world beneath one of the Bahamas' busiest bridges and discover the amazing marine life that most visitors never know is there. Some young boys asked the property owner if they could fish at the pond behind his house and he said yes no problem. While the kids were fishing they spotted a fish and took a few steps over and landed in Mr Karen’s property. Mr Karen then ran over to the neighbor’s property to ask him if he gave the kids permission to fish because he didn’t believe him. Mr Karen even suggested that the kids could possibly rob his house but quickly backtracked and then offered a thinly veiled threat to the kids. Was Mr Karen upset because he was worried about the safety of the kids or was the homeowner wrong for letting the kids fish on his property?
