I hooked a beautiful 200+ lb (90–100 kg) Goliath grouper with my drag locked down as tight as possible. The Shimano Stella 18000 couldn't have been set any tighter. We were lucky the braid held up against the structure, but the 300 lb monofilament leader eventually rubbed against the rocks right beside the boat and snapped. It's incredibly frustrating because 90% of the fight was already done, only for me to lose the fish at the very last moment—right before the finish line. This is one loss I'll never forget 😭💔🎣

What a FISH! Saw her cruising this shallow pocket, and even from a pretty far distance, I knew it was a special fish. The video doesn't quite do justice the build of this fish - it was only 21.5" in length, but was one of the widest-built fish I've ever caught.........

While diving off the southern coast of Cuba, in an untouched undersea garden, Anderson Cooper did a stand-up that he said may be his best ever. It was for the 2011 report "The Gardens of the Queen." Marine biologists describe this region as a kind of "underwater Eden," a coral reef largely untouched by humans. Cooper went scuba diving with marine biologist David Guggenheim, dodging giant groupers and sharks while exploring the increasingly rare oasis. While shooting his stand-up, Cooper said: "There was an enormous grouper, like, a 300-pound or 400-pound grouper that passed by. And then a shark comes by, and I remember while I was doing it, I was just thinking, like, ‘Don't mess this up, because this is this incredible confluence of these majestic sea creatures, and you are never going to be able to replicate this.’”

My POV on the biggest Music Festival in IBADAN. It was just a very random day when a friend called me for a meeting. Apparently, we’ve worked on several projects that were successful while we were students in the University of Ibadan. I got to the venue of the meeting and he proposed the concept of the event. I locked in immediately and started setting up my PR team as the publicity manager. We rolled out contents and event day came and it was a total shutdown. We recorded audience a bit above 1k.

Mick and I had been up all night, it was raining outside and there was the sound of these heavy stomping rubber boots near the window, belonging to my gardener, Jack Dyer… it woke Mick up. I think I figured out the Robert Harward “CIA mask” thing. I was doing some cross comparison between other interviews… As I was scrolling back-and-forth at the apparent shadow being cast by the apparent “CIA mask” in his neck, it became clear that the shadow was mirroring his mouth movements. I don’t know how it happened, but it’s clearly a reflection from the teleprompter of his mouth over what would otherwise be a harsh shadow on his neck. Look closely at the end of the video as I scroll back-and-forth.

I lived in the US for a year back in 2003. Matrix Reloaded came out in May, and the hype around it was seriously insane, beyond imagination. In the movie, the main characters are using this super cool phone, and then in a close-up shot, I spotted the 'Samsung' logo right there on it. It felt absolutely mind-blowing and magical. I came back to Korea full of hope that this thing would actually go on sale worldwide. But later I found out it was only released in the US as a super limited edition of just 5,000 units (or so I heard back then). I was hugely disappointed… but eventually, I tracked one down and bought it from a collector. Even now, looking at it, the design is still so damn cool. I took it to a carrier to try using it for real, but they told me it’s a 2G phone and can’t be used anymore. That was another big letdown, I remember it clearly. Do you guys like the Matrix movies too? I’m a total huge fan!
