🚨The BBC had just sunk to a new low. On Newsnight last night, presenter Matt Chorley claimed Nigel Farage said people should respond to the murder of Henry Nowak with “white cold rage”. Nigel DID NOT SAY THIS. The insertion of the word “white” by the BBC is obviously designed to change the meaning completely. It was no slip of the tongue, Chorley said it THREE TIMES. He came prepared to defame Nigel and lie to the country. This is disgusting from the BBC. "What's the BBC ever done for me?" Well, it's pumped out lefty propaganda and threatened to jail me if I don't pay it. The BBC released a three-minute propaganda video starring Romesh Ranganathan to try and boost support for the BBC because nobody watches it anymore and nobody wants to pay for it. It's based on John Cleese's Life of Brian sketch where he asks, "What have the Romans ever done for us?" - then lists a bunch of good things the Romans did do. Thing is, the Romans did bring us some good stuff - sanitation, medicine, really straight roads. The BBC just brings pro-trans and pro-mass immigration propaganda and left-wing social engineering, and makes us pay for it against our will. I love how the song boasts that the BBC does not interrupt programmes with advertising, during an elaborate advertisement for the BBC. And despite crowing about "BBC Verify", they pushed out this video as part of their news coverage. It's not news. What is a fact is that a third of convictions of women are for non-payment of the TV licence fee. All the celebrities, presenters and performers in the BBC’s film depend on the licence fee. Of course they think it's a good idea for their gravy train to continue. "What's the BBC done for me?" A lot less than it's done for them.

The Day Of The Triffids (1981). John Wyndham's "cosy catastrophe" gets a gritty Cold War survivalist style production by the BBC. John Duttine is the stoic everyman hero Bill, with the grim task of surviving in a devastated world. Emma Relph and Maurice Colbourne give powerful performances as Jo Playton and Jack Coker respectively, and they come to very different conclusions about the duty towards the blinded population and the necessity of long term survival. The Triffids in this are nice and chilling: it's hard to make a plant seem terrifying, but with their rattling hissing sound they gave many viewers nightmares.

The fact that Rap was a Psyop has been bugging me.. so I went back and listened to all the number one hits of 1999, almost all of which I'd never heard before. And now? Now I don't think just Rap was a psyop.. Now I think almost all popular "Black" music was. But Why? Well.. Think of it like the "Swifting" of music. It's not just all vapid and all interchangeable, in a dreamy or hypnotic quality.. but it always presents the exact same message. Like late night talk show hosts always have the exact same message. It doesn't matter who the artist is,it doesn't even matter what song they're singing.. inexorably it will politically and ideologically walk in lockstep. I'm curious to know if you can spot what the message is. Listen to the songs, really listen to them. The core message is: Black men are presented as strong, powerful, desirable. White men are weak and fragile simps. Consider, there's TWO songs by White women about just loving their men... (neither of which actually hit number 1 unlike what the video says) the rest are thinly veiled encouragements to go have sex or go out of their way to find fault with their men. "That don't impress me much." Conversely, all the Black/Latina women (with two exceptions (both involving money, interestingly enough) love their men to no end and aren't shy about saying so. Alternatively the White men positively gush over women... or whine about how hard life is. But they are never presented as strong, virile, or dominant. But the Black men are... and the Latino men are presented as sexy and fun lovers. Tell me you see it too.. I can't be the only one.

In the topical immigration debates taking place in South Africa, many ignorant people have been manipulated by politicians and individuals with political ambitions who are exploiting that ignorance for their own agendas. But not everyone is ignorant to the real issues at the heart of the crisis. Some voices within South African society, including from the white community, are now speaking openly and calling things for what they are. The reality is that immigration in South Africa is not simply about foreigners. It is also about failed governance across the region, corruption, unemployment, economic collapse, weak border management, and political leaders who refuse to confront the root causes driving migration. Increasingly, some South Africans are beginning to recognise that blaming migrants alone will not solve the deeper structural problems affecting the country. But who cares about facts and accurate narratives when all that is needed are emotions to drive people into doing things they have been wrongly told will mitigate their suffering and the abject poverty in which they live? The tragedy of populist politics is that it feeds on desperation, not truth. People who are struggling economically become easy targets for manipulation, especially when they are constantly told that vulnerable groups, rather than failed leadership and corruption, are responsible for their hardships. Who cares about all the corruption coming out of the Madlanga Commission? Who cares that hospitals are being looted while billions that should have been used for healthcare, schools, roads, housing, and service delivery are instead being squandered on Ferraris and lavish lifestyles for politically connected elites? Nobody cares about those facts. The public is deliberately distracted from the real criminals destroying society. Instead of confronting corruption, state capture, and political failure exposed before the Madlanga Commission, people are encouraged to direct their anger at the easiest and most vulnerable targets, foreign nationals who are themselves trying to survive poverty and economic hardship. That is how populist politics works. It protects the powerful while turning the poor against one another manipulating their ignorance.

Following our previous post about Chris Buckler's BBC interview with Tristan Morrow - who spoke about leaving the Orange Order and identifying as a trans woman - we listened to another segment from the same edition of The Stephen Nolan Show. The discussion was about Féile an Phobail's decision to cancel a Women's Rights Network panel event on women's sex-based rights. Overall, it was a much more balanced discussion. Buckler challenged both guests, questioned claims from both sides and pushed back at various points. But several moments stood out. One was a claim by People Before Profit's Fiona Ferguson that organisations like the Women's Rights Network wanted "people's genitals to be checked before they're allowed to go into toilets." Buckler then asked WRN NI's Nora Calder: "Do you want people's genitals checked before they go to the toilet?" When a guest makes a highly contentious factual claim, shouldn't the first question be whether there's evidence to support it? Otherwise, an unsubstantiated allegation risks becoming the premise of the discussion - rather than something to be tested. Ferguson also invoked contested suicide statistics relating to transgender people, which also went unchallenged. But there are broader editorial questions too. Tristan Morrow - a young man who identifies as a woman - was given 21 minutes of airtime, during which his perspective was explored with relatively little challenge. Where is the equivalent long-form interview with a woman explaining why single-sex spaces matter to her? Or with someone who says they have suffered discrimination because of their lawful gender-critical beliefs? The BBC also chose to publish Morrow's interview separately on BBC Sounds as a standalone programme, giving further prominence to one side's personal testimony. And prior to introducing this segment Buckler reflected on the response to the interview with Tristan Morrow saying he'd received "lovely messages" from listeners. There is, of course, nothing wrong with telling his story. And due impartiality doesn't require every viewpoint to receive equal airtime. But it does require careful editorial judgement about which voices are amplified, how contested claims are handled, and whose experiences audiences are invited to understand. Taken together, this coverage raises legitimate questions about whether that standard was met. 🎧 We've shared a short clip here.
