Webb gets it. There has to be a movement away from Netflix and the couch; literally standup for our freedom. The cost of convenience is enslavement. People don't realize that their 'conveniences' will get whittled away by the system until we are all injected & eating crickets.
That's a nice summary of her concept. And her concept may be closer to reality than most. Seems human governance has veered between the 'res publica' (for the public) pole & the mafia (exploit the public) pole. And that we in the West are now quite far down the mafia end of the spectrum. Boycotting the institutions will help a bit, but as they're ubiquitous they're very hard to avoid. A better solution may be constitutional architecture that reverses the flow of power from the virtuous majority to the criminal minority. This would require an uprising. But people seem to be ready for an uprising. #Democracy
