Who Do You Love • Bernard Wright [1985]

The Original, to the remix.

Let me find out A-Boogie is a descendent of Bernard Wright. I can’t unsee it 🫣😂

Bernard Wright was a Hip Hop Legend

When I tell you that 🗣️THIS WAS MY JAM!!! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

This song is 🔥 but I get a little seasick watching the video. 😆😆

I was playing in a Hip Hop band in NYC when I was out there in college. When I moved away, Bernard took over for me on keys. I always say he had big shoes to fill Haha! But seriously, he was a dope keyboard player RIP 🕊

Here's another Bernard Wright song that you might recognize from another artist.

This video is genius and my brain is tickled

And speaking of Godmothers…..

I never understood that camera angle where it looks like they are rolling on the ground

Rip legend!!!

Love this song and watching this video still makes me happy🥰

Love this song. Reminds me of my teenage years in th 1980s. RIP to Bernard Wright and his godmother Roberta Flack.

Rest in peace to Bernard. I love this song 🙏🏿

I loved this song growing up

STILL JAMS

Imagine sampling from your own generation.

Rest in peace Bernard ❤️

Video Music Box Vibes 💪🏾💯

No sé a quién amo, pero sé que amo el teclado de esta canción. Es el sonido exacto de 1985 entrando a una discoteca con un look arriesgado. ¿Cómo no vas a bailar esto? Imposible. 🔥

A classic!

Still on rotation til this day❤️‍🔥

How am I just hearing this for the 1st time

The Original lol ✨️✨️

@redforjanet A CLASSIC!

To the person who posted this…thank you. I had no idea LL used this

I remember having this on vinyl, Classic

🤨 what were they rolling on??

What a cool video concept. I love that it looks like they’re in a Gravitron!

One of My Favorite R&B/Soul songs of The 80s. Along with it being a FUN video done by the Great Zbigniew Rybczyński, who did many now CLASSIC Music videos in those days.

The bridge of this song is peak

Got introduced to this mad years ago from the vaporwave remix by ConsciousThoughts.

I really didn't expect this obscure banger to resurface as much as it has since its debut. Also glad I saw a behind-the-scenes of how that part was made back then, because I'm sure once the internet was invented, that would've been one of the first 10 things I searched. 😆

One of the best hooks ever.
