Who doesn’t love a massive data dump—especially when it exposes how our tax dollars are being spent (or misspent)? 📉🇺🇸 The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) just open-sourced the largest Medicaid dataset in history. 🚪💸 🚩 The Red Flags Are Waving High As people dig into the data, some...

🚨DEBT CRISIS: Why Are We Funding Israel While Drowning in $34 Trillion Ourselves? Let this sink in: The United States has spent over $30 BILLION defending Israel in just the last 2 years alone. And over the last 75+ years? 👉 $300 BILLION+ of YOUR taxpayer money has gone to support one foreign country. That’s not a typo. $300 billion. Israel is the single largest recipient of U.S. aid in history — no one else even comes close. So next time someone tells you, “It’s just a drop in the bucket,” they’re either lying to your face or completely ignorant of the numbers. Meanwhile here at home: 🇺🇸 We’re $34 TRILLION in debt 🚨 Our border is a disaster 🏚️ Cities are collapsing under crime & homelessness 🧓 Veterans are sleeping on the street 💰 Inflation is crushing working families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Americans are taxed to the bone just to get by And yet... politicians from BOTH parties are writing blank checks for endless foreign conflicts — while ignoring the crisis in our own country. Why is Israel’s security more important than yours? Why are American troops protecting their skies while ours are invaded daily? Why are we sacrificing our future for a country that’s not even in our hemisphere? This isn’t about left vs. right. It’s about AMERICA FIRST — and waking up before there’s nothing left to defend at home. Our money. Our soldiers. Our future. 🇺🇸 Not for sale. Not anymore.

Today, CMS notified Governor Walz and the state of Minnesota that we are deferring an additional $91 million in federal Medicaid funding. This follows a pattern we can’t ignore. From the “Learing Center” scandal to the recent DOJ action involving childcare centers, Minnesota’s Medicaid program has shown serious vulnerabilities to fraud. These are not isolated breakdowns—they point to systemic issues that must be addressed. Here’s the reality: the federal government funds roughly half of Medicaid. That gives CMS both the authority and the responsibility to ensure those dollars are spent legally and appropriately. When they’re not, we act. Earlier this year, after auditing Q4 FY2025 billing, we deferred over $250 million. Of the $91 million deferred: • $76 million is tied to 14 service categories highly vulnerable to fraud • $14 million involves program integrity concerns, including payments for ineligible individuals We’re giving Governor Walz as much support as we can to turn this around. However, we cannot and will not pay bad bills so we’re asking for more information from Minnesota to verify these bills. CMS will continue using every tool available to protect Medicaid’s integrity—because this program must serve the most vulnerable Americans, while honoring the trust of taxpayers. More updates to come. As always, I’m grateful to Vice President JD Vance’s leadership as CMS plays its part in the whole-of-government effort to root out fraud.
