This is why I never go camping alone in some creepy and reportedly haunted woods. In a place where locals go to perform their own rituals and believe they are something they aren’t is not a place to go camping under the stars and roast marshmallows around a fire. I would save that for another time. For my take on this I wouldn’t even know where to start. I couldn’t imagine going campaigning with friends only for a woman who thinks she’s a witch to start running around the car and onto the car trying to scare me away because to her this is some sacred place. When we were kids we always went to a place called the Yogi Bear campground. It was more of a resort, it was named after a famous cartoon character. My family went and allowed us to each bring a friend. In the days we would explore the woods and go swimming at the pool, hit up the concessions. But at night while everyone slept, we were young and dumb. A friend had brought an ouija board and we were trying to open portals and contact spirits. One night in the tent when we did that, it was around 4am, we heard someone walking around the tent while we were using the board. We were all around 11-12 years old, we were terrified. I remember my friend telling me to open the tent and see what’s there but I didn’t. I just sat there and we waited it out. Looking back at this moment, and I use this moment in my own mind not to ever get an ouija board. I think it could have just been other campers who were walking by and it just happened around the same time. But I will never forget that day for obvious reasons.

After seven years on YouTube, thousands of videos and livestreams it finally happened. I was digitally robbed. I play lottery tickets on YouTube, at the bottom of the Florida Lottery ticket is a barcode. The cashiers scan the barcode into the lottery computer and pay you what was won. After seven years on YouTube, thousands of videos and livestreams it finally happened. I was digitally robbed. I play lottery tickets on YouTube, at the bottom of the Florida Lottery ticket is a barcode. The cashiers scan the barcode into the lottery computer and pay you what was won. Last night I was live streaming from Publix and I hit a $500 winner. The cashier told me she didn’t have the cash to pay me. I went to a different Publix today to cash the ticket and it came back as already cashed. WTF!? I called the lottery office, using the barcode they pinpointed the exact store it was purchased at which matched my story. They see that it was cashed in a different city and store. Last night, I received a distress call from concerned residents in the Mowlem area of Embakasi West. They reported that two young children had been sleeping in a makeshift shelter (kibanda) late into the night while their mother spent her time in local pubs consuming alcohol and allegedly abusing other substances, leaving the children neglected. I immediately visited the area and found one of the children fast asleep in the makeshift shelter without even a sweater. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan had stepped in and covered the child with a sweater to protect them from the cold. What was even more heartbreaking was learning that whenever neighbours attempted to help the children, the mother would become hostile towards them. After speaking with a security guard, we were informed that the mother was inside her house. We proceeded there and found her consuming alcohol and chewing miraa. Shockingly, she did not even know where one of her children was at that moment. The neighbours informed us that the mother, who is also a landlady, might be struggling with depression. Although that has not been medically confirmed, she appeared to be in need of professional help and support. I rescued the two children and assured their mother that I would support efforts to help her access rehabilitation services so that she can receive the guidance and treatment she needs. We reported the matter to Mowlem Police Station, where it was referred to the Children's Officer. The children will be placed in a safe environment while the relevant authorities conduct further investigations and take the necessary steps to safeguard their welfare. No child deserves to be neglected or left exposed to danger. I commend the concerned residents who chose to act and report the situation. Together, we can protect vulnerable children while also ensuring that those struggling with addiction or mental health challenges receive the help they need.

Does this mean they won’t be using the NHS? Won’t need our infrastructure? Won’t access the very services National Insurance is supposed to fund?
