The irony is, no Northerner will spew this nonsense about Lagos: we are Proud of where we come from. You MUST have some degree of SHAME for your ancestral territory to leave it & want to claim ownership of other people's territory.

Even he himself can’t defend his assertions that why he is stammering.

Yoooo @mariolexxx Send me the link please. Meanwhile, ogunlakaiye lo ma fi eje boboyen weiii.

I can’t remember again

These people get agenda…. From Zik to Kanu to Ekpa and chinedu on the street… Same ideology, same mentality, same thinking

Yoruba must take these people seriously, they are crossing their boundaries.

You see what our liberalism has caused us? Meanwhile, nobody dares to call any part of Hausa or Igbo land a 'no-man's land. We'll correct the notion by God's grace. That narrative must change!

In trying to disprove ownership of Lagos, you say it’s because the Portuguese named it Lagos, as such it belongs to all. What about Cross River Plateau Delta Rivers Port Harcourt Etc…?

Eve me as Yoruba man that practically lived and schooled in Lagos has never claimed it. Was born in Ibadan and have never claimed any other place but Ekiti. Lived in Abuja for about 15 years now but it's not my ancestry

Na small thing dey cause big wahala. @jidesanwoolu, please don’t let that girl start that Owanbe fabric drama. People say Lagos is a “no man’s land” because Yorubas are liberal, but even here in Canada, the Prime Minister no fit talk say “Canada na no man’s land,” despite how open and developed they are.

Lagos is a no man’s land’ is a political slogan, not historical truth. The Igbos knew this, which is why they fled the Western Region during the Civil War. The Yoruba’s magnanimity later allowed their peaceful reintegration. Ignoring these facts is simply illogical.

Seun mentioned Igbo as an example throughout. Chukwudi, Uche blah blah. Why not include Musa, or Akpabio or Oghene or any of the hundreds of ethnic groups in that example? This is so tiring. This country doesn’t start and end with Igbo and Yoruba. Seun should know better.

This is the same thing that cultural thief Njoku girl meant when she said "Lagos is presently influence by Yoruba culture" It is the same thing they've all been saying. They're not hiding their agenda in lagos. It is Yorubas that are sleeping and allowing the rubbish to continue

Abeg tag that ediot fess

All these PDP boys are yuzlez Awon akotileta! Demola Rewaju Elenu Woyowoyo!

You know the funny part is that @seunokin who’s interviewing this guy doesn’t realize this is the same problem Itsekiris face with the Ijaws and Urhobos — they keep calling Warri a no man’s land or claiming it belongs to three different groups 😂. So when Seun acts like it’s fine for Ijaw and Urhobo to make those claims on our land, he should understand exactly what the Itsekiris have been saying all along. Seun comes off as a liberal man though. Lagos is not a no man’s land — it has always been Yoruba land and will always remain so. There’s no “revolution” that’s going to transfer ownership. This is exactly why uncontrolled immigration is dangerous for aboriginal people. What you wouldn’t tolerate in your own land, you want others to tolerate in theirs. Pure hypocrisy.

Yoruba has been in existence before the arrival of the Portuguese and the Yoruba was well positioned economically to be traded with them. The Yoruba trade capacity with the Portuguese was the reason for the British colony, before the Hausa and later the Ibo migration. The same agenda since the Bloody Coup and later the Civil War.

I washed this video on Facebook. You could see that Okinbaloye was not having it with him. That guy is far from reality. Never will Yoruba people allow that.

Revolution kee you dia. You wonder why they are serous about indigenous bills.

I hate all tho dc tribalism stuff but I’ll drop this here

Bull nonsense. Go and make Anambra another Lagos and stop running away.

For Nigeria to truly work as one nation, we have to put competence and inclusivity above tribe or region. Back in the First Republic, that spirit existed — Alhaji Umaru Altine, a Hausa-Fulani from Sokoto, was twice elected mayor of Enugu, and Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, an Igbo, was elected and represented Lagos. People voted for ability, not ancestry. That’s the mindset we need again. If a Tokunbo, a Yoruba man born and raised in Abia, has lived, worked, and paid taxes there, nothing should stop him from running for office. The Constitution already forbids discrimination, yet the “indigene” mentality still shuts people out. History shows that when leaders were chosen for merit — like Awolowo’s free education in the West or Bello’s development plans in the North — the whole country moved forward. With over 223 million people and no single majority group, Nigeria’s strength is in its diversity. It’s time to drop old barriers and build a nation where every Nigerian can lead, wherever they call home.

For Seun to be entertaining this nonsense without shutting it down, I pity Yorubas

Baba nla oloriburuku

This is the kind of sloppy and stupid thinking that will eventually destroy Yorubaland if care is not taken. Yes, the constitution allow Nigerians to live in any part of Nigeria but not for an entire village in Abia or Imo State to decide to relocate to Lagos or Ogun State. No!!

There are people the Yorubas call "Apa". This dude is the king of "Apa", as in Oba Apa, and has nothing upstairs. The land of the Palestinians was welcoming until Israel annexed it. The idiot wants the Aworis and Yorubas to welcome Chukwudi to be governor so Ibos can annex it.

In case you're wondering where it started from

“Yoruba but” continue supporting them. Iku ma Pa gbogbo yin

Put things in place to protect the indigenous people of Lagos....what do you want do put in place? You want to use style to push the indigenous lagosians aside while you rule.... You never put your region in place, na Lagos you won put in place.

An Ekiti man self won’t say this not to talk of this imbecile

Who is this man? It's funny how people with defeated psyches are now gathering the courage to try to turn the tables around and showcase their defeatist mindset as what should be the norm, instead of honestly reassessing their weak mindset, researching more, and using that feeble energy of theirs to fight back against the systemic gaslighting that made them what they are.

Just like his mentor, speaking gibberish with confidence. Justifying what you can't defend, defending what you can't justify. He is even scared of making his point ki Ogun ma pa danu 😏 😏 😏

Just see his rubbish talk,Aja loma jenu Demola Olanrewaju....so he is this dull in real life...asiere!

We need to actually thank Obi & gbarebo for d awakening of all Yoruba sons & daughters in 2023. If it had not happened, we would av still bn panparing this useless ibos. Omo! That Trade Fair must be dismantled from ibo dominance. We must chase ibo away from Badagry, Ojo axis.

The fact that Ilorin became part of the northern political structure after its fall to the Fulani Jihad, yet no one ever claims it as “no man’s land.” Everyone recognizes that Ilorin is Yoruba in origin, even though its rulership and political alignment shifted over time.

Enough of rebuttal talks over this reckless rhetoric that: Lagos is no man's land! It's now too boring. The elected officials will continue to cure the insanity via lawful actions, such as the ones that are currently being carried out! Eventually we'll know who truly owns Lagos!
