I’m pretty sure the cop ended up getting charged for this. It was definitely his fault.

Gotta be the cop, right? I know insurance typically always blames the rear vehicle, but with this video the cop changed lanes, break checked got way ahead slammed on his breaks and went between lanes

Honestly the dude on the motorcycle should have gotten into the other lane for his own safety when the driver brake checked him. (cop be damned)

The cop appeared to change lanes to be in front of him (for no reason I could see), then braked for no apparent reason before brake-checking the guy. Usually a rear ending would be the fault of the party in the rear, but in this instance, the biker’s footage could get him out of it, since it looked like the cop was TRYING to cause an accident, imo.

The motorcyclist. He should have been in control of his vehicle. If you get rear ended, 99% of the time it is the fault of the one hitting you from behind.

If the biker knew how to drive that would not have happened. Especially after the first break check…

The biker has sued the department, but it’s still pending. The trooper actually arrested the kid, and didn’t render aid.
