@KathleenWinche3 Don Kirshner produced the fictional TV Monkeys and lined up hit songs for them from Boyce& Hart and Neil Diamond. But as the Monkeys became more difficult to manage Kirshner quit and created the cartoon Archie’s. “Now I have a band that won’t talk back.”
