its funny, i was thinking the opposite. i find input minigames annoying when they hide the inputs (like FF7 Remake/Rebirth's gym minigames)

It’s understandable. Some people like it, while others don’t. I personally enjoy the whole concept: the music, how it changes the view, and the sound it makes when you tap the buttons. 😇
