It probably has manual hubs. You have to crawl under the rear end of the car and switch it to snow mode. It’s usually located on top of the rear housing next to the ID-10T button.

Front wheel drive is crap in snow

She forgot to switch out the summer air for winter air... That's gonna cause some major problems for her.

She has no idea how FWD works. That car has probably never had an oil or filter change either, at least not until it’s almost too late.
