It’s not about replacing anybody, it’s about rotating and winning it all (4 comps). For that you need the best at their best, no huge gaps between subs and starters when there are injuries. This process has started a long time ago, y’all still don’t understand it. You won’t anyway thats why we are champions and not you. That’s why Arteta is a manager and not you.

Squad rotation Rice, Bruno, ode Eze, skelly, Zubi Always account for knocks, fitness, injury’s & the amount of games.

Fair question worth addressing directly, real answer is genuine rotation across four competitions rather than a straight replacement for anyone specific. Given the workload concerns covered on Rice all season, more genuine quality depth solves that problem regardless of exact positioning.

It's not hard for anyone to see that last season was about closing the gap in quality between the starting 11 and the finishers. We did that across the pitch without covering for Rice. Arteta's game plan will be more adventurous this season. Rice will play with Bruno when he's back.

Bruno is being bought so the midfield can rotate next season .. Arteta didnt trust Norgaard so he upped the level. It wil be rice / Zubimendi or Skelly / bruno g combos all next season.. midfield was burnt out when got to CL final so this signing will stop thst happening

How can they not know Arteta's set up. Hes been doing a double pivot for years now. Obviously rice, bruno then whatever 10 u want Ode/eze. Certain games he will mix it up and maybe do two advance 8s and one dm/holding role. Shouldn't even be a discussion.

Odegaard was injured almost through last season, Rice and Zubimendi played over 4,000 minutes of football for Arsenal last season and at some point they were tired. Do you want the same thing to repeat itself this season without no depth in the squad?
