The customer. Apparently his whole thing is to order something in a drive thru, claim it’s wrong, harass employees, then film their reaction online to post it and humiliate them. Dude’s a known scumbag, and they get paid enough to deal with his shit

Ehh it’s hard. I’m definitely on her side more because she’s standing up for herself and her team. Sometimes people need to realize they’re at McDonald’s and not a fancy coffee shop lol. I will also kind of defend her directness, because I’m sure they aren’t as polite when they bring up the issues they clearly have been having. It may come off as rude, but I see it as her trying to keep business moving.

Restaurants have the right to refuse customers. This seems as though the customer has been an issue. At times you will always has a customer who you can’t meet eye to eye. So the business is not worth the difficulty.

Whoever is filming is a fuckin asshole. He clearly is doing this for clicks and is deliberately fucking up a poor womans job. Based of her to tell him to fuck off. Who films themselves getting a mcdonalds shake? TikTok flags that's who.

She handled it perfectly. We obviously cannot satisfy you. Puts it all on the picky complaining customer.

She’s right. It’s actually two way street. Business can reject clients too.

That's exactly how you treat a customer that always complains

In all honesty, I I kind of have her back—-despite the poor treatment that I have personally received from some of employees at fast-food chains like McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's. I’ve met some bad ones. However, Her level of disrespect was unnecessary. However, it's worth considering how many times this individual might have repeated that same behavior. The fact that he drove off so calmly suggests that he has likely frustrated her on multiple occasions. After all, a milkshake is a straightforward order; there are limited ways to get it wrong, and customers should expect to be satisfied.

There’s a point with people like this. Companies don’t want to tell them no but there’s a point where it has to stop

The driver. She's just trying to do her job. He's filming for what's probably internet clout.

Definitely her It’s not her drive through, so she has no right to make that call with who can and cannot arrive . The customer seems to be picky, but the customer is always right as they say , and they are paying for it after all 🤷‍♂️

She’s fine. He’s the one that keeps going back, but I get the sense of a special request gone wrong.

I used to know a guy who would order two nearly identical drinks from two separate Starbucks nearby One was ordered with slightly different ingredients than the other. He would then drive to the other Starbucks and present the opposite receipt and claim they got it wrong-->free

Stop being so picky about fast food. You want quality, go to a restaurant. Fast food is based on quantity, not quality.

Chris Philips's profile picture

I remember my boss doing this in the restaurant. There was a guy who would come in and always moan about something. One day my boss had enough and said to him. “Obviously our establishment is not up to your standards. Please leave and don’t come back” He banned the guy.

He’s the guy who sits in the chair while getting a haircut and obsesses about every last hair. Sit down and shut up. It’s a haircut and you’re a guy. If you want a beautician, go sit with the ladies. Same for a cup of ice cream. Man up it’s not Chez Wusswuss.
