The delivery driver pays gas, shops, bags, loads, unloads and makes squat for a $40 delivery. I tip my pizza guy 20% and he just drives. This lady would have spent gas to go shop AND what is her time worth. She needs to tip.

Tips are optional. If he didn't want the job, he shouldn't have taken it. He should be fired/not given any more delivery orders.

I’m on His side!! Look at all those heavy groceries that he went to the store, loaded on a cart, loaded in his vehicle and delivered to her! Let her get her own groceries if she is too cheap to tip this man a few extra bucks

Well I don't participate in this activity. I think its ridiculous He agrees to work for the company not for tips. He should get fired If drivers work for tips, it needs to be advertised and the customer need to know before the order so he understands it is an added charge

Unfortunately, she's correct. She's a jerk but she's still correct. And Him? He should know there are gonna be jerks out there. It comes with the territory. Sometimes you just gotta eat it and move on. This was one of those times. Think it...don't say it.

And I have one more thing to ad to this. He did not walk through the store and shop. Not a single one of these Doordash or whatever drivers shop. The store employee's do the shopping and the drivers just sit in their cars and wait for the groceries to be brought out to them. They just DELIVER the goods. If they don't make enough money then find a real job.

Tipping is not required for grocery delivery so he's in the wrong and he should be fired and possibly charged with theft. Sometimes you get a tip. Sometimes you don't. It is what is it. If he doesn't like it he can get another job where tipping isn't part of the equation or if he does like tips he can be a bartender where tips are left more often than not.
