2. I launched the Kosofe Food Bank Initiative in 2023. It is targeted at feeding vulnerable people. However, we took it a step further with house-to-house distribution. Our top priority remains expanding access to food aid, addressing the specific needs of vulnerable groups, reducing stigma, and, of course, raising awareness about food insecurity in our community.

8. It is also important we attract investors in Kosofe Local Government. It was a heartwarming display of compassion when the Adebisi Adelabu Foundation, in partnership with Kosofe Local Government, provided financial assistance to 500 widows and vulnerable people in Kosofe communities. The intervention was aimed at alleviating financial burdens and cushioning the hardships faced by these women. Ilọsiwaju Ibile Kosofe lo jẹwa logun Ajumọṣe gbogbo wa ni oooo

@TheOgbeniOpa @Riddwane @Mr_JAGs @Inside774LGAs @woye1 This is truly impressive, and it's great that you're sharing your scorecards. Just imagine the impact if all LGA chairmen in Nigeria had similar good intentions—the positive ripple effect would be felt across the state and the entire country.

Over the past 14 years, Bengal’s healthcare sector has undergone a historic transformation. Today, I had the privilege of inaugurating 110 fully-equipped Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) that will take advanced healthcare services to the remotest corners of our state. Each unit, staffed with doctors, nurses, and technicians, is a self-contained mobile clinic designed to deliver free diagnosis, consultation, and treatment right to people’s doorsteps. These MMUs mark yet another milestone in our Government’s journey to ensure “Health for All”. With 210 such units being rolled out, we are reaffirming our commitment to a Bengal where no one is denied medical care because of distance, poverty, or circumstance. Since 2011, our Maa-Mati-Manush Sarkar has redefined the meaning of public healthcare, introducing Swasthya Sathi, Swasthya Ingit, Chokher Alo, Shishu Sathi, Matri Ma, Madhur Sneha, and many more people-centric initiatives. From 14 new medical colleges and 42 super-speciality hospitals to over 13,500 su-swasthya kendras and free treatment facilities, Bengal’s healthcare network today touches millions of lives every single day. We have reduced infant and maternal mortality rates to record lows, expanded infrastructure, trained thousands of new nurses and doctors, and ensured that quality healthcare is a right, not a privilege. We remain firm in our resolve to continue serving every mother, every child, every family, and every citizen of Bengal with the same compassion and commitment that define our ‘of the people, by the people, and for the people’ philosophy. Joy Bangla!

Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky says they offered LeBron James a $90,000,000 deal plus a $10 million check before he signed with Nike “He came to Boston. We had an amazing presentation. I think he had already visited Nike, and we went into the boardroom. We go in there and Paul was one for the theatrics. He was the best salesman in the world. We made an offer to LeBron right there” “We're sitting around this table and Paul offers them, I believe it was $90 million. Paul stands up. He walks around the table behind LeBron. I think he said to Gloria, LeBron's mom, ‘What's the name of your bank?’ She says, ‘Akron Trust,’ or whatever” “He pulls out a check and goes, ‘This is a live check. Not part of the contract. This is a live check for $10 million. If you sign with us tonight, you can take this check back to Akron Trust and deposit it’” “We're all like, ‘Oh shit.’ That was a move. Also not telling his staff because he wanted the moment. I'm across from these guys and I see his mom trying to figure this out. I see Maverick unbuttoning his shirt, getting some air. And I see LeBron stoic” “He didn't accept the check. He asked if we would leave the room. It felt like a lifetime, but it was 45 minutes. We go back in and they basically said they had to honor a meeting with Adidas. Then they had a follow up with Nike where the rumor is Nike matched the $100 million” “I think if he had made that statement and come to Reebok, it would have changed our position in basketball forever”

It was a revealing experience for me during the visits, last week, to Gombe, Katsina, and Sokoto States, where we had the opportunity to witness firsthand the challenges and progress in Nigeria’s healthcare system. Meeting with the Governors and key stakeholders, we reinforced our commitment to maternal and child mortality reduction, hospital revitalization, and expanding access to essential health services. In Gombe State Government of Gombe State, I commended HE Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya leadership in immunization and healthcare financing while highlighting how the $1 billion Project Hope Project HOPE will complement state-level investments, ensuring sustainable health outcomes at the grassroots. In Katsina State Katsina State Government, I underscored the urgency of tackling maternal mortality, where 15 local government areas contribute significantly to the national burden. Through the MNH-MaMII Initiative, NHIA NIGERIA, we aim to work with the state to ensure that every pregnant woman receives the care she needs. In Sokoto State Sokoto Government House, where maternal mortality stands at 977 per 100,000 live births, collaboration is key. With the Emergency Medical System #NEMSAS and ambulance scheme, expanded primary healthcare revitalization, and routine immunization efforts, we are ensuring that no woman or child is left behind. Across these visits, we reaffirmed our whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach, working in alignment with H.E. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu Nigeria Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative (#NHSRII). I’d like to thank my colleagues from NPHCDA led by its Executive Director, Dr. Muyi Aina, Dr. Muyi Aina, our partner, Chris Elias Chris Elias, President, Global Development, Gates Foundation, Gates Foundation and other partner organizations for their support and collaboration. Together with state governments, development partners, and frontline health workers, we will continue to drive sustainable reforms, ensuring affordable, quality healthcare for all Nigerians. #NigeriaHealthRenewal #ProjectHope #MaternalHealth #PrimaryHealthcare #HealthForAll

Thank you Kandi Burruss for the incredible endorsement on #WWHL 💙 That meant more than you know. I love you even more for standing up and using your voice! This campaign is personal for me. I’m running for Congress because I’ve lived the struggle. I grew up on free lunch. I received WIC and food stamps. I worked my way through school, built businesses in this district for over 25 years, created jobs, and treated thousands of patients. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when healthcare is too expensive, when families are drowning in bills, and when small businesses don’t get the support they deserve. My platform is simple and powerful: • Affordability – Lower the cost of living, protect Social Security and Medicare, expand access to affordable housing, and fight price gouging. • Healthcare – Integrate medical, dental, and mental health. Expand access, lower prescription drug costs, protect the ACA, and support veterans and seniors. • Education – Support public schools, fund HBCUs, reduce student loan burdens, and create real pathways to trades and entrepreneurship. • Economic Opportunity – Invest in small businesses, bring federal resources back to every county in District 13, and create real jobs. • Environmental Justice & Community Safety – Clean air, clean water, safe neighborhoods, and infrastructure that works for our people. I’m not running for a title. I’m running to deliver results. District 13, it’s time to Stand Up and Stand Out. We are More Than Just A Vote. We are A Voice. #RHOA #Married2Med #WorldWide #DrHeavenlyForGeorgia DrHeavenlyForCongress StandUp StandOut MoreThanJustAVote AVoiceForDistrict13

FINAL FOLLOW-UP CLINIC AND APPRECIATION PROGRAMME FOR THE 65 FREE ENT SURGERIES Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, I joined the medical team, beneficiaries, parents, and partners at the final follow-up clinic and appreciation programme for the 65 free adenotonsillectomy surgeries provided to children with serious breathing and related health challenges. What began with a screening exercise that reached over 100 children grew into a meaningful medical intervention, with eligible beneficiaries receiving the surgeries and care they needed completely free of charge. Families came from different parts of the country to access this life-changing opportunity, and today provided an important moment to review the children’s recovery and wellbeing. Beyond the clinical follow-up, the programme was also an opportunity to recognise the dedication of the doctors, nurses, hospital teams, volunteers, parents, and everyone who contributed to making this intervention possible. For me, this is what meaningful community impact looks like. Identifying a real need, bringing the right people together, and taking practical steps to improve lives. Every child who can now breathe, sleep, and live better is a reminder that service to humanity must remain at the heart of what we do. I commend the medical team for their compassion and commitment, and I celebrate every individual and institution that played a role in bringing this initiative to life. Together, we can build communities where better healthcare and better living are not privileges, but possibilities for everyone. Qullamaggie on Situational Awareness “I guess it was an okay setup, but it failed in a big way. That was near the peak of the SPAC market. You can see why it failed, because NASDAQ pulled back. Nasdaq had a big run, multi-month run. You wanna buy breakouts when the market comes out of a multi-month sideways consolidation or a multi-month sell-off. Here, good time to buy breakouts. Here, not so much. And that's why it's failed. The setup itself was okay, but once the market is straight up for multiple months, you gotta be careful buying breakouts. The setups themselves were okay. But the market started pulling back mid-February and everything failed. When is the best time to buy breakouts? Chat, come on. Come on, chat. When is the best time to buy breakouts? What do we want to see in the moving averages? After correction? Yeah, but the moving averages. When the 10-day is above the 20-day, yeah, more. Rising 10-day, 20-day. We want to see the 10-day above the 20-day, and both the 10-day and 20-day need to be rising. Or one of them can be sideways, but at least one of them needs to be rising. That's when you have good conditions, generally, for breakouts. In late February, the 10-day had started sloping down, the 20-day was sideways. So that was a warning sign. That you shouldn't buy breakouts. NIO, big move, pulled back to the 10-day, started building a flag and it went straight up. Why did it go straight up? Well, because the market had just come out of a multi-month correction. And that was the start of a multi-month move. And NIO had shown strength all the way. That's a good time to buy breakouts, when the market comes out of a multi-month sideways or multi-month correction. Not when the market has already run for two, three months straight up, and it's starting to lose momentum. Not a good time to buy breakouts.”
