But the unfolding Chief Ministerial contest in Kerala is raising uncomfortable questions within the party itself. A Kerala Cong insider has spilt the beans to CNN NEWS 18. Insider wonders if the principle is that leadership must emerge from political struggle on the ground, then why is K.C. Venugopal, who did not contest the Kerala election and operates largely from Delhi as AICC General Secretary (Organisation), suddenly being seen as the frontrunner for Chief Minister? Does this not risk overshadowing leaders who spent years rebuilding the Congress in Kerala? The UDF’s jump from 41 seats to 102 seats is being described as historic. Much of the credit is being attributed to V.D. Satheesan, who led the opposition campaign on the ground. If performance and political delivery matter, many in the party are asking why isn't he CM. Questions are also being raised about the observer process. Mukul Wasnik, Ajay Maken and Deepa Das Munshi all seen as organisationally junior to K.C. This morning, I went to an award ceremony for Dr. Leelavathy Ji. She is 98 years old, and she gets up at 3 in the morning and then reads and writes her views. She is one of the many people who have defended the voice of Kerala – of its people and its traditions. In our conversation today, she said something very powerful. She spoke about the culture of silence and how it's spreading across India. The ideological attack of the BJP and the RSS is designed to create a culture of silence. They want India to remain silent and not express itself. And they want to deliver all the wealth of the country to a few, limited business houses. They want an India where all our people's assets belong to a select few people. And they know that it can only be possible if the voice of the Indian people is silenced. I can tell you with complete certainty that nobody can silence the voice of the people of Kerala. Why is this not the biggest story on the planet? New docs show that Democrat Reps were texting with Epstein while interviewing Cohen. Epstein was assisting Democrats in the Trump witch hunt, in real time. One could argue Epstein is complicit in the Dems’ treasonous conspiracy. It almost appears as if Epstein was a Democrat puppeteer, and was using people like Plaskett to help bring down Trump via proxy. How many other times during these hearings were Democrats getting talking points and lines from people like Epstein?
