It’s such a bizarre phenomenon. Like a sort of maladaptive mental short circuit that liberal white women are prone to. Some weird mixture of privilege guilt, virtue signalling, redirected empathy (perhaps due to childlessness and birth control hormones) and propaganda.

I feel like all this hate and racism could all be fixed if we all just forget about what happened in the past and move on. Like, it's not on the great great grandchildren of slave owners and white supremacists to correct the wrong doings of their ancestors.

She’s not talking about correcting anything. She’s saying we should know about it.

The media won’t tell you, and woke liberals are clueless: Trump’s roaring comeback is driven by everyday Americans fed up with soaring bills, not obsessed about a dozen genders or the right to a transgender bathroom. #AbookThatChangesEverything #TrumpWon

That’s easy. Cuz some of the perpetrators are still alive. They like to tell you slavery and Jim Crow was so long ago when some of our grandparents experienced that era which would, of course, mean that the people who did it were their grandparents and they’re also still alive.

She should probably study slavery back a little farther. They didn't suddenly get to America and poof they were slaves... Some of these people were kidnapped, some were sold by their own black people, others came from other places. If she's really interested in accurate history she should take an actual look at history instead of the small specifics of a few hundred years. This is basically cherry picking history to push an agenda. If you want actual accurate history, then do some legwork and digging and stop pretending that this small fragment of time was all there was.

Worldwide , accurate history has been a problem throughout history. It requires “historiography” to figure it out because no nation records history true. The winner of a war writes a different story than the loser or observers.

she forgot to mention that black tribes enslaved other black tribes and sold them to whites. slavery NEVER would have made it to america without those black tribes. a white man would not have lasted 10 seconds in the interior of the black warlords land.
