But Kemi, it was the Conservatives who introduced Net Zero and wrote it into law. It’s your fault.

@johnredwood Why? Because Tories pushed for net zero, closed North Sea for oil extraction, prolonged Ukraine Russia crisis for 5 years and failed to invest. Remember what, Coutinho pledged? You lot cannot be trusted in govt again. Vote Reform UK.

Why are the “leaders” of Labour and the conservatives talking about TV’s, Baps, and disposable BBQ’s? and ignoring what is the main worry’s and concerns for our country? 😡

Was it, was it the Tories Nut Zero policy that YOU put into law? 🫵

The Conservative Party was in power during much of the period when UK electricity prices increased to among the highest in Europe and the developed world for both households and industry. They implemented or sustained key policies that contributed to these rising costs. You had 14 years!

Who was in power for 14 years? No nuclear power stations built or completed. No reservoirs built for a massively increased population. But, signed us up to Net Stupid Zero by Theresa May. Now, who’s to blame?

This is so true! The regulations on house development are off the scale these days and there are still more under consideration. Government pokes its nose into far too much of our lives and our products - don’t forget Burnham is looking at restricting supermarkets next, it’s endless!! Time to cut free and let business do its thing, let ordinary people make their own choices and get taxes down!

Sit down dear, between your lot & Labour, you've done a hit job on Great Britain. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Didn't Labour and the Conservatives collude together to try and stop 5 million people vote? Had been a Tory voter for decades, never ever again...

@grok What energy policies were enacted by the Tory government when it was in power? And how many of those people who were in that government are still MPs in Kemi Badenoch's party today?

Good God Are you now working from Andy Burnham’s script? I know The Tories & Labour are close but you sound just like him. Or are you using the same script writer. You do know we have a National Security threat, don’t you? Where’s your call to leave ECHR & stop the boats?

DO NOT TRUST THE TORIES. If Badenoch wins power and tries to implement any of this, the wets will remove her and install one of their own, and voilà, we’ll have yet another leftist PM.👍

That's because TVs are global products, while UK energy prices are shaped heavily by domestic policy, network costs and regulation. Technology keeps getting cheaper through competition and mass production. Energy doesn’t have that same luxury. So yes, government policy plays a role, but can you realistically give that cheap energy or bring it down considerably?

I'm not going to listen to what is undoubtedly propagandist garbage... but the answer around energy is dependence of fossil fuels, which surge during conflict, exacerbated by an industry that revels in crisis profiteering. I bet that's not Kemi's answer though.

Why didn’t you stand in the by-election? You can’t stand in a second one as voters will just ask your candidate why they didn’t stand the first time We all know this is not a real investigation - Farage was not an MP in 2023 Here is what happened to Starmer who did take gifts from a businessman with a No 10 access pass Technically that’s a legal precedent

It’s almost as if you and your gaslighting party pursued an economically ruinous policy of making electricity artificially scarce and expensive when in government for over a decade. At no point did you repeal the Climate Change Act or Theresa May’s ruinous net zero laws.

My washing machine went wrong a couple of weeks ago, within 24 hours we had a replacement, the old one uninstalled and taken away, the new one fitted and tested. All packaging removed, total cost, £418 and that includes membership of AO with benefits applied to future purchases. God bless free market capitalism and I curse those who want to see its end.
