Because not every car is a subaru. Ive owned subarus in snow country and it's mind blowing at what they can do.

I’ve heard that they cause damage to UNIBODY vehicles. Plows are built for TRUCK frames.

You can go to any fabricating shop and have them weld you up a blade for your toe hitch.

Bad idea. Snow plowing can be hard on a vehicle frame to begin with. That's why it's mostly trucks with strong frame construction you see plowing, not unibody passenger cars. You could probably buy a snowblower for the cost of that snow blade and not risk damaging your car!

Great, gets both cars out of the garage, now they have a 4 foot packed wall of snow they have dig through to make it to the street.

Can be, but expense and effectiveness will vary widely. (Generally on the not effective side for most cars)

It would wear that vehicle out, very quickly. Snow is very heavy and hard to push
