Jainism theologically regulated - No caste system. Tibetian Buddhism theologically regulated- no casteism Early Islam - no caste system. The list goes on. Further I need to read something which states production was theologically regulated in India.

I said any system which regulates consumption, doesn’t allow technological disruption, and doesn't result in caste system is likely to be an oppressive system. That follows from the logic of the stated givens. It may be hidden or overwhelmed by other factors operating simultaneously. Historical record until recently shows hereditary vocations and non existence of labour market throughout all societies. Early Islam based on conquest and expansionism, mostly into rent seeking activities. Jainism existed within and adjacent to broader context of people following Vedic religion, and so on

What arguments you are making can be applied to slave labour also . Caste system is made by brahmins , they are no where present in the chain of production. They are only in consumption and it was unlimited.

The bad thing about the caste system is not the technology and consumption patterns. Those are fine. The bad thing was the highest caste gatekeeping access to God. Were Shudars allowed to enter temples or perform rituals? Who gave the right to Brahmins to gatekeep God?

Consumption is still theologically regulated. And it was in other parts of the globe as well that didn't develop a caste system. A large part of the regulation was caused by the same people who created the caste system & didn't allow technological disruptions in the first place.

Whether the caste system is “necessary” or “unavoidable” depends entirely on how you define caste—is it based on birth or work? And how you define theology—is it centered around Law or Truth? The answers to these determine the structure, not the inevitability.

"उपभोग की कोई सीमा नहीं?" — फिर २००७-०९ में अमेरिका में मंदी क्यों आई? लोगों ने कर्ज़ लेकर इतना उपभोग किया कि वित्तीय प्रणाली ही चरमरा गई। हर व्यवस्था की एक सीमा होती है। असीमित उपभोग एक भ्रम है — और वह मंदी उसका प्रमाण।

That conclusion assumes theology is static and caste is monolithic. But theology evolves, and caste, too, isn’t a single idea—it changes depending on whether it's rooted in janm (birth) or karya (work). (1/3)

Almost all societies had a class system, especially in ancient and medieval times. However, those class systems were never sanctioned by religious texts — which is why they eventually disappeared elsewhere, but still exist in India.
