What about the JEE ranks, so in my coaching same resources are used module,there are many SC/ST and even OBCs, and I am general so even if work harder than those other students still they would be up then me why? Cause reservation is giving them a privilege to kill my hard work

To be fair all upper caste people understand and the need for reservations. The balancing we, as a nation, must do is - 1. How to account for a baseline merit. Can -40 marks acceptable level for professional courses? 2. How to ensure reservations reach the poor in all groups?

entrance test is not like some political appolintment/nomination or giving tickets during election to ensure "representation" for all. There no well criterion exists. it all depends on political contacts,lobbying&whims and fancies of top leaders. but exams are not like that no. your score is transparent and permanent. who got how many marks is for everyone to see. now where does the question of "lack of representation" come from?

Abey chodu, representation sirf Parliament mein chahiye hota hain. Wtf is representation needed for in Schools, Colleges and jobs jaha merit ke basis pe selection hona chahiye?

Equal social structure is not possible with reservation. A person getting in with reservation may get a seat or job, but will not get respect. He himself will feel inferior when he sits next to someone who entered through merit. Respect needs to be earned, not begged.
