2 of the literal worst things for the environment, cement (and concrete) and plastic. Lmao

Ah, plastic fumes burnt off into the air. Awesome. 🙄

Or you could just use a bunch of river rocks and avoid all that stupid shit and it looks 100 times better

Paper cement bag retainer walls.

Because we need a lot more plastic in our environment.

That's quite interesting

Jesus Christ no wonder there’s fucking microplastics in everything. Maybe use … rocks?

Guy who has never heard of rocks

This is retarded. You can achieve a similar look, without all the ridiculous extra time or plastic.

Thats one of the most retarded ideas someone has come up using cement. Cement on its own like that wont make it in more than 2 years without cracking, and in 5 years you would have uneven pile of rubble.

Cement blankets They're soft like fabric - until you add water - then they turn into solid concrete. They use 90% less material, cut construction time by 60%, and 3 workers can lay 200 m² per hour.

Hey, here's a great idea. Ready? There are these things called stones you can get a bunch of and use those. Unlike concrete, they don't need a plastic cover to stop the rain from cracking them. Solid as rock! And if you just walk some beaches, they are free to pick up.

So bad! The passageway is awful for baby strollers and wheelchair, and you put all this plastic fume in the environment as side effect.

This looks like absolute crap. Have fun removing all the plastic, hitting it with a little flame doesn't just make it disappear.

But the plastic is poisoning the ground water as it is slowly decaying.

I thinking would prefer to just pour the cement directly into the forms and have a flat slab.

Anything but doing the dam job...

Who covers their floor in plastic bags and then BURN it ??? So many people are stupid as hell in the world

I have questions. These things are not regular cement otherwise they will become dust in few months.

Why not use natural stone cobbles or concrete cobblestones to make that path, instead of those cement blobs? It will last longer than cement, especially outside.

How much money are you saving to waste this much time instead of just buying pavers?

Burned away? Did you just say burned away? The plastic? Holy fuck, this should be illegal? That lady is dying of cancer in 10 years.

I guess it's a lot cheaper than stone but pretty time consuming. Cool idea though.

As stupid as can get. The tiles are to be laid on a bed of sand. Then sand should be used to fill the cracks. Utterly moronic.

Burning plastic? What a stupid, careless shit. There are better ways of doing this...

why put durable nice stone! when you can put temporary concrete!

Using plastic bags instead of pouring concrete into a mold? It looks strange, but the texture looks incredibly natural. @grok, what's your opinion?

maybe :)

Is this a similar concept to how they built those walls in Peru Marcell? @FoMaHun. Except vertical and not plastic?

@grok does this actually work?

Looks like a bunch of ankle breakers

These should be mixed with small stones to make concrete and after curing, they can be unwrapped and put back into place rather than melting the plastic away only from the top. This way the mortar can bond with the sides of the blocks.

First step is to afford a walkway that big.

Don't show this to Greta or Al Gore or your carbon tax will go up

Lay concrete in bags then burn the plastic off? This is dumb!

Not only this is very idiotic and wasteful it is also extremely uncomfortable to walk on. Even with proper shoes.
