While in ancient times some circles were using geometry for engineering and mapping the skies.. Other groups sought to add the spiritual powers of woo too. Both still exist today.. Not to downplay the woo side of geometry as the meditations of exploring shapes is a great conditioner for the creativity of the mind. Perhaps better than any drug concoctions too, but perhaps a little boring for some without the woo-woo over psychedelic stuff. If you've meditated on squaring the circle, try meditating on cubing the sphere. :) Do that and you'll be on a very cool path to appreciating ratios of forces and effects without needing to assign magical forces to nothing but space or time as like that space-time stuff does. Pop a Free Neutron in the middle and meditate some more.. Between decay, decay products and ratios, you'll start to see the building blocks of nature all within a single unit of measure with every ratio and relationship with 1/D^n. You can’t do it with JUST a compass and straightedge. They are both equivalent to linear equations which are unable to solve for pi, which is something you need to do, geometrically, if you want to square the circle.

Shouldn't the heavens be the square since space is believed to be flat with no curvature and Earth the circle since it's a sphere?
