In this clip from a space last year, Rabbi rabbiori uses his Rabbi powers to immediately sniff out that Dan is Jewish based on the name “Dan” and starts calling him “brother Jew.” Instead of just mentioning his partial Jewish heritage, Dan responds by showing he’s biblically illiterate and implying the Tribe of Dan in the Hebrew Bible wasn’t Jewish…even though it’s literally one of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Today I visited Godel Terminal, the office of one of America’s most prominent entrepreneurs, Martin Shkreli. Martin isn’t Jewish, yet he’s been a powerful voice of moral clarity — consistently calling out antisemitism and standing up for the Jewish people when many stay silent. He told me he grew up in New York with a Jewish best friend, and that some of the opportunities that helped launch his career came from Jewish people like Jim Cramer. He also shared that during some of the hardest moments of his life, it was Jewish people who stood by him, defended him, and showed him loyalty despite the pressure. In a time where speaking up isn’t always easy, Martin’s courage and honesty are truly inspiring. It was a real honor meeting him today and personally thanking him.

What I heard about Antisemitism Inside British Schools Should Worry Everyone. A 🧵 I started working on this project for selfish reasons. As parents of Jewish children who were born in the U.K, we often think about which education system will be right for our family. For months, I interviewed and talked to students, teachers, headteachers, and parents. What I learned frightened me. Like many Jews, Jack's parents wanted him to go to a non-Jewish secondary school and assimilate with the general British public. "We didn't want to feel like we were in a ghetto", his mum told me. When classmates found out Jack was Jewish, the jokes began. Allegedly harmless at first. They mocked the Holocaust. They told him, "Hitler's coming for you." He tried to ignore it. They kept going. Jack's parents contacted the school. Nothing was done. Eventually, Jack had had enough and confronted the boys himself. He was the one suspended. That same day, he told his parents he couldn't go back. Jack transferred to a Jewish school. He is thriving. "I feel like I came out of it learning a lot", he told me, "even if it's negative, it still taught me that this is what society is like. Jews don't count". Jack's mum told me that after her son left that school, more Jewish students did the same. >>>
