Why did they stop making cartoons like this

These old cartoons were brilliant

Old cartoon logic was something else.

SpongeBob always had some deep scene's that we couldn't understand as kids

The Simpsons show us what the universe is

Why don't they make these kind of cartoons anymore 🙄

Because people found offensive everything

Cartoons are now made to sell or to indoctrinate, no longer to entertain children.

One reason is very likely because the boomers in charge of telly programs today have this baseless idea that poorly rendered 3D animated shows are somehow an "upgrade" from 2D, when in reality, the two are separate forms of animation.
