They’ve forgotten the reasons they didn’t like him. They’ve forgotten the reasons why his own WH staff in the Spring of 2020 had to pull him out of those COVID briefings and end them because they were so bad and harmful to his image because he would say such insane things. The more you see of him, the more you say ‘what is wrong with him?’ He’s really off the rails and people need to see that.

carlos had NO indication of how close piastri was (for blue flags his engineer usually tells him how many seconds there are between the cars). the only thing he was told was that he would be fighting alonso under the blue flag of piastri which is what he was preoccupied with when piastri got close enough and ended up in carlos' blind spot.

I felt like there was a bit more in my tyres. Obviously, Lewis and I were on different strategies at that point, but I felt that what was right was staying a bit longer on track. But at the end of the day, it is the way is."
