Holy moly Never seen someone being that bullish for AI developement as Dario Amodei: - There's just an exponential just like we had an exponential with Moore's law - I think the models are just going to get more and more capable at everything - I've had internal people at Anthropic say, "I don't write any code anymore. I don't write I don't open up an editor and write code. I just let Claude code write the first draft and and all I do is edit it. - What what we're going to see in the future is just like we've going to be seen in the past except more so - the models are just going to get more and more intellectually capable and you know the the revenue is going to keep adding zeros. holy moly, Dario!

Jimmy Fallon says the hardest part of fame is knowing not everyone likes you “Getting rejection. Being told you're not funny. Haters. This was before Twitter and all that stuff, which is a different ball game that I wasn't ready for either” “You think it's just going to be, ‘Oh, this is cool. Everyone will be great.’ But not everyone's rooting for you. Some people want you to fail. People's jobs are to take me down and put bad press out” “That stuff I wasn't prepared for, overcoming that. Hating on you or saying you're not good. You don't think that's going to happen, but it will if you're successful because someone's not going to like you no matter what” “It's the worst. Absolutely the worst. I hate it. I want everyone to like me. I can't stand it. I go, oh my gosh, what can I do to make you like me?” “I think the answer is you can't. You can't make everyone like you. You just have to do what you do, do the best that you can at what you do, and be happy with yourself”

Malik Willis explains how he went from the NFL giving him just 3 starts before people decided he couldn’t play and writing him off, to now being a starting quarterback on a $68,000,000 contract “Either you’re going to be all nervous and scared, or you’re going to go out with a bang. I was like, I’m going to go out with a bang if I’m going to go.” “I played three games in Tennessee. I started three games, bro. And it was like, ‘Oh, that’s it.’ I see guys get like 20, 15 games to play and get better. Couple seasons.” “I got three games and it’s, ‘Oh, it’s over with. That was trash.’ I’m like, dang, I ain’t even get to play. I had to learn, bro.” “So what can you do? You can get better. You can not worry about that stuff. You just try to keep getting better. Keep getting better.” “In Green Bay, I don’t get to play till Week 16. So what I’m doing every day, I’m going against our defense. I’m trying to keep getting better. I’m trying to challenge them like they try to challenge me.” “It helped me learn and it helped me grow. If you don’t take advantage of those opportunities, you’re disrespecting yourself at that point.”

“I had the unfortunate position of telling founders when they achieve some level of success that it only gets harder going up. And it just keeps getting harder. The only solace I have for them, if you're going to look up the ladder, make sure you look down the ladder.” Bill Gurley

#Habs Martin St. Louis thoughts on season "I feel like it's something we've built, and we keep growing. We've learned, and we're going to learn a lot through this process and failing at advancing. But you learn way more through the failures. This year, I know we're not moving on, we're not going to win the championship, but there's a lot of wins in what we did this year. I think it's going to help us to keep progressing." #GoHabsGo #NHL #Hockey

PRX something: "[...] When I played on Corrode, suddenly I saw Shr1mp keep pointing at me and standing up at me, and I just didn't understand why dude. I had like 11 kills, I didn't even do anything on the map. He kept pointing at me, so I took it as a challenge and [carried that] into the second and third maps. That's why it was fun, I guess, because it's like I wanted to prove something, you know" (via Pedro Romero)

KAT: "It seemed like they were struggling. I wanted to get the game going. I already had a hot hand. I didn't say anything to Andre...but I did say something to Maxey...he walked up to me and I was like I went to Kentucky longer than you so I have a little more experience with the geometry and all that, getting the ball off of that. Shoutout to Cal and the amazing teachers we had at Kentucky. Taught me well"

Dawn Staley on a moment when pressure completely paralyzed her, and why the solution was to stop trying to lead like everyone else, and instead be unapologetically herself: “I experienced something I’ve never experienced in my life. I was paralyzed. I can’t do this. You feel the pressure because you’ve got to perform.” “You can’t be the one that dethrones the success that USA has had. I lost sleep.” “I just kind of exhaled and said, ‘I have to do it my way.’” “It’s a lonely place.” “When it’s all said and done, it’s going to be me that failed or got the job done. So I just exhaled and said, ‘I’m going to do it my way.’” “Don’t let this be an opportunity where you’re mad and in your emotions. You’ve got to learn.” “Surround yourself with people who are smarter than you… and you just be the conductor.”

Helen Mirren and Emily Blunt share the reality of filming nude scenes in movies. Helen Mirren: "I became the one who encouraged everyone else saying, 'Don't worry, it's fine. It's not as bad as you think it's going to be.'" "You just have to get on with it, really. A lot of the other women had never done that before, and they were like dreading it and just mortified. So I was encouraging them." Emily Blunt: "It's amazing when you're told that the set is going to be a closed set... It's amazing how many 'necessary' people are having a look." "I had to do a scene in that film where I stood by a window completely naked, and then I looked down and all the crew were like, 'Yeah!'"

THIS ANSWER. “saying you won’t be the favorites in vegas. i saw you do this at least another two times: ‘we are not the favorites.’ do you think a change of mindset is needed?” lando: “no, i can say what i want, i can think what i want, i tell you what i always am, i always try and be as honest as i can be. if i don't think we're going to be quick, i don't think we're going to be quick. and i'm not saying i'm going to be 10th, i'm just saying i think it's going to be difficult to win. we were a long way off, just go and look at the data from last year, look at the racetrace, we were miles off. and there's been plenty of races where we've not been quick enough this year, so it's not like we've won every single race and you're expecting me to say those things. i'm just giving my opinion on ‘do i think it's going to be as easy?’ i won last weekend by 30 seconds, very, very easy. i won today by pushing a lot more, only 10 seconds, and max was probably the quickest out on track today. do i think that at a track that we've never been good at, we were very good here two years ago, we almost challenged max for the win, we've never been good in vegas. so why am i going to think, ‘yeah, it's going to be fine, whatever?’ i'm giving my opinion, i'm giving my honest opinion on how i think we're going to be. we've never been good there, so i'm not the most confident about going into this race. maybe i'll win, then we'll see. but i'm not going to lie and say ‘yeah, i'm very confident and i think it's going to be an easy weekend’ because i don't think that's how it's going to be. so no, i mean, you're very right to have your own opinion on what you think i should say and what i should not say and whatever, but i'll do what i like.”
