You won dey see where dead body dey soapy?

🤣🤣🤣

To alert the people wey dey inside incase he dey do soapy.

Knocking before entering a mortuary or opening a morgue is a sign of respect.

Make dem no go interrupt conversations with ancestors

It happened to my dad that the mortuary door closed on them inside for 7hours before they came out because they didn’t knock so since then I don’t know the mystery behind it but just knock for you to be on the safer side.

You still think life is not spiritual abi. Your eyes will see Wetin your mouth no go fit talk one day.

You can’t just barge into someone’s privacy like that.

The dead also need to be respected. Where they are currently is their room . So before you open y must ask for their permission by knocking.

make deadbody no come outside come strangle you

Because if dead body give you earthly slap, i swear your body settings go be like that of itel phone, you go dey hang

Even the dead deserves privacy.

@TOb1loba Apparently, it’s mostly a sign of respect and a traditional habit.

It’s generally a gesture of respect for the deceased and, in some facilities, a way of signaling to nearby staff that a body chamber is about to be opened. It’s not a universal rule, but more of a professional courtesy and workplace practice.

Na body dey die....the ears are never dead.....

Are they seeking permission from the de@d bodies for opening the door?

Have you heard of spiritual slap before? 😂

Well, I think it's to accord the dead respect. It's believed that their spirit is still hovering. You must also understand that their bodies are now empty

You no go knock before you open person door? Untill dey wipe you slap....

It’s mainly a sign of respect and protocol. The dead may no longer respond, but the dignity we owe them doesn’t die with them.

Maybe the knock isn’t for the dead. Maybe it’s for the living to remind us that even in death, a person deserves the dignity we gave them in life. One day, someone else may be knocking before opening the door where we rest. Life is temporary; respect shouldn’t be.” 🕊️

If e reach your turn, no Knock

This is not the end. They will never tell you this. DEATH IS NOT THE END. It’s an upgrade or downgrade to another chapter! So live well

@grok can you tell us why they knock first before opening?

Please to all the doubting Thomas, please apply for a vacancy as a mortician and not knock while handling the bodies. It's very simple, make you self still talk your experience make other doubters talk say na cap. Foõlish people.

If you open am ,even if na slap you go collect

Do we have this kind of moque in Nigeria? 1 day go day go for like 50k

Its more of respect for the dead. Don't forget corpses are always stacked naked inside the body chamber. Just human dignity. 🤔🏃🏾♂️

Preserving Dignity: Many mortuary workers feel that a person's basic human dignity does not end at death. Knocking is a physical habit used to treat the deceased the same way you would treat a living person in a private room

In case them be dey soapy

If you don’t knock before you open it You might encounter some spiritual attacks and if you’re not spiritually fortified you might never get healed from it … many won’t believe it but this is real

This guy sef get mind sha

So the Ghost can dress up

I may not know the answer but at least I learnt there's a word called mortician 😂
