Im in the marketing field and I work with some of the most solidified influencers some of, are my friends. Brands dont pay enough to buy an A Class, let alone a Range Rover or a Birkin Bag. STFU! At best, the gigs pay you to maintain a rent in the North and a Haval installments

No she’s 100% right. Brands pay but certainly not enough to drive around in a Porsche Cayenne … some have tenderprenneurs as their partners who sponsor that lifestyle but they flaunt like it’s money from a brand deal.

I think to some extent she’s right at the same time she’s wrong. Two initially get these brand skills I believe the tend to sell bums. But afterwards it becomes a legit brand deal but it can be pulled any time because of the nature in which it was orchestrated.

There is a celebrity influencer who said she lost R800k deal because of some bad publicity by a certain podcaster. That's a good money from just one deal. She can sip champagne on a daily basis if she can bag 2 more deals🤷🏽‍♀️
