Why do so many people hate “Ironheart”?

Because the character is not likeable.

She's a criminal.

What the fuck is this armor even...

The no respect for Stark and the whole oh im just super great at everything troupe is bs

The wokest character of all

I promise you this is the whole reason why I didn’t watch iron heart and how low you have to be to ignore all your nonsense and pick up a victim card thinking people will sympathize with you ?

I’ll give you people who could have been the new iron man and be better than ironheart Harley (iron man 3) Morgan stark (Tony’s daughter) Pepper Potts (Tony’s wife)

We could have had this guy , but no...

because it`s garbage.

Because people got really sick & tired of the MCU belittling those like Stark, Hulk, Cap. America, & even Ant-man, Blk. Panther, Hawkeye, after Endgame, trying to push these poor lesser versions as if they were better

Everyone hates the show, not the comic book character Theres a long list of reasons why Ironheart sucks; but the main reason is lazy African-American stereotypes being used for character convenience. Riri Williams is vain, selfish, and irresponsible; yet the conveys the opposite

you know most characters and movies don’t actually watch the movies of other characters cause you know they don’t exist outside the movie and can break the fourth wall. That’s a kind of a Deadpool thing so most people in the movies only know the context within the movies, and within the Marvel cinematic universe, the average person only knows that Tony Stark made weapons that he stopped making weapons became a living weapon and started fighting aliens that is what the average person knows about Tony Stark, which is what riri would know

- Iron heart = unlikable smartass - Tony stark = billionaire engineer who redeems himself throughout the marvel franchise - For example, he stops making weapons for the army because he realised that it caused too much violent destruction for the people. Redemption > Good Guy

She’s a criminal for money to build the suit. She’s a genius who also built personal force field. If she was so smart, why not patent and sell the force field to become a billionaire? She’s both the smartest and dumbest person in the show.

A suit of armor doesn't make someone a hero. Real heroes are defined by courage, sacrifice, responsibility, and heart. "Tin SoulLess" is just a random, entitled brat wearing expensive tech — highly unlikable, and nothing close to being Stark's successor.

Wasn’t it supposed to be Tony’s daughter anyway?

That's all I need to say.

Let me show you what a worthy successor to Tony Stark looks like:

The little bitch was insufferable and sucked at acting

The demon WHO?

Because the comic was only created due to woke mentality. Nothing about hating because of color just a stupid idea.

They would never dare show a female character as struggling or weak😂 it's always you're powerful and perfect only society holds you back. No personal growth and mistakes or weaknesses, no hero's journey, no accountability

It’s dogshit, literally has the character be glazed by everyone while she makes every retarded choice possible, literally makes a deal with Mephisto knowing the consequences, ‘what is good or evil’, the list goes on

Good concept but useless storyline. Kept self sabotaging kept aggressive behavior ad if your a genius you don’t need to keep announcing it overall it’s a useless boring show

Because at this point im strong black woman lead actress fatigued. Nowdays they make movies tk represent black people or gay people or trans people. Fuck that, make a good movie and people will like it

Go woke go broke

Story was ass

Some people will not like it bc black person trying to be iron man But majority don't like it bc it the character's morals are all over the place, she makes stupid decisions, she made technology (before the suit) she could have sold to government and gotten millions; but no

Because iron heart looked like it was made by BET

Weak Writing and Characterization Many reviewers describe the show as poorly written, citing Riri Williams as an unlikable protagonist who fails to embody the "genius" label assigned to her by the script. Critics note her lack of charisma, questionable decision-making, and a character arc that feels stagnant or nonexistent. Supporting characters, particularly her mother and friend Natalie, are often cited as more likable and well-acted than the lead, with some arguing the mother’s reaction to Riri’s expulsion from MIT is unrealistic and lazy writing. Pacing and Plot Issues The series is frequently criticized for convoluted storytelling and inefficient pacing, with important plot points introduced and then abandoned without explanation. Viewers point out a lack of stakes and tension, with heist sequences described as messy and illogical. The villain, The Hood, is also a target, with critics calling the character terrible and the magical elements of the plot lacking visual imagination or coherence. Representation and Stereotypes A major point of contention involves the show’s handling of diversity, with some critics accusing it of relying on urban Black stereotypes. Detractors argue that the show reduces its Black characters to criminals or victims of violence, contrasting this with the positive legacy of Tony Stark. Conversely, other commentators argue that the intense backlash and review-bombing are driven by racism and gatekeeping, defending the show as a necessary step for representation despite its flaws. Comparison to Iron Man Legacy Some fans feel the show is disingenuous to the Iron Man legacy, arguing that Riri’s journey lacks the natural brilliance and heroism associated with Tony Stark. Critics suggest that the show tries too hard to be "cool" or "hip," resulting in characters that come across as cringey rather than charismatic, and that the narrative fails to provide a compelling reason to root for a protagonist who engages in criminal activities.

Comic book Iron heart is so much better, They dropped the ball on the show and ruined the character.

She stole thousands, when she could have MADE billions

the writing is horrible, the character is unlikeable.... plenty more reasons
