To keep you in the store longer looking for the stuff you need to get the "ooh I could use this" effect to but more shit

and its not walmart either its like all stores ever. i can confirm here, i live in russia near moscow and yeah I CANT FIND SHIT

... *secret radio to Walmart, being an associate.* He knows...

and as somebody who used to work in a supermarket, trust me, the clerks dont know whats going on either 😭

Durvish_: Stop moving shit around!! Supermarkets:

Ypu basically got it. After a bit, you memorize the locations, and ar ein and out in 60 seconds. Theu move it to keep you there for longer, and possibly buy more things. same reason why milk is in the back. You always buy milk, so they make you look at everything else first

Gotta love capitalism

Yup that is EXACTLY what they are doing!

As a Wal-Mart employee….it’s both that and because we want to put new stuff out so we remodel everything

I can confirm this as a former Walmart employee.

That's actually common practices I learned it in a high-school business class

They do move stuff around a lot for some reason. Cant hardly what you need when you need it.

Marketing research from 90s shows rearranging things from time to time can introduce customers to new things they didnt know was in the buisness but to correct your statement walmart rearranges it a bit excessive being they sonetimes will rearrange a secton 1ce a week

Come to europe. We have quite consistent shelves packed with the daily stuff. It rarely gets realigned and stays mostly in its designated place. Walmart failed in europe, because people over here do not like the concept of this overgrown supermarkets

Capitalism in a nutshell

How is he able to walk and make expressions exactly like Scout from TF2?

Well because people are like you this here or over here nice try

Just download their app, it has a map of where everything is

They make you walk around more so maybe you would buy something more

Bro talked himself into the answer

You figured it out. Some things are also seasonal, so moving things around when you have more of some things and less of others is just inevitable. Gotta maximize the sales floor use $$$

Every aspect of any consumer store specifically designed to entice you to buy more From the position they are on the map From store to located store From where you are parked To the items that are in store You are scientifically fucked And logically scored

i used to work in kroger in stocking. its to keep you in the store for longer. seeing more product. they want you to take longer to find what you want so you see stuff you didnt know you wanted.

UR OLD

This sounds like Walmart alright...it's a pain in the ass but god does it work against us.
