That wasn't a coincidence you can clearly see, Selma Hayek taps David Walliams on the leg, and then they both do the exact same hand gesture, but it didn't start at Diddy, being mentioned it was when Jay-Z's name dropped then it was an instant reaction from them.

Definitely an unnatural way to sit and place your hands, they are signalling to someone. It's gotta be a distress signal of some kind.
