Why do tuna swim constantly?

Tuna gets it's oxygen by moving through water. They have no other method, so it's critically important for them to keep moving.

Tuna rely heavily on ram ventilation because their high metabolic rates, driven by fast swimming and endothermic traits, demand efficient oxygen delivery. like most fish with pelagic lifestyles, it is more energy efficient than buccal pumping.

It’s because they live in the water. Hope that helps.

Some fish need to move forward to breathe.

Gede-gede ya ikan tunanya

They are great swimmers and delicious food.

They're fish, what else are they gonna do, read a book?

Cuz I don't know

Would be so much better with Pantera in the middle blasting "walk"!

To breathe
