Literally did it this morning. Oddly enough, that's how I know when it needs more water. If I don't hear the water sloshing around from the shaking, that's how I know to check 😂😂

It’s apart of our culture ,acts of our ancestors.Ya gotta think of who was usually doing the ironing back then and how it would easily burn fabrics as there wasn’t a temp dial, so we wiggle for efficiency. I have no idea if this true as I just made it up but it feels accurate

If you do the straight long enough it’ll go into auto shutoff. I’ve done this myself

You shouldn't do it on certain fabrics because it will damage them. But general, it does help "press" out wrinkles. On more delicate fabrics, it should be smooth, straight motions. (I come from a long line of people, including myself, who used to iron/press clothes for pay.)

We have convinced ourselves that it’s more effective so much so that we do it without thinking. 😂

Helps to smooth and push the material to keep it from folding under the iron. It sometimes snags if you just go straight.

I do the same thing, but on another note, why is dude spraying starch on them jeans? Cress so sharp he gonna cut himself! Lol
