@Jonathan_Blow Yes, oils are obtained by pressing seeds.

There's no such thing as the canola plant or canola seeds. Canola stands for "Canada oil, low acid". The plant they're using for these seeds is the rapeseed plant, which is naturally toxic to consume. Through GMO and crossbreeding the Canadians made it produce less erucic acid.
