Mainly crime

Such an underrated President. His legacy was tarnished, but he was effective. Not to mention that he tried to put forward a universal health care plan which was strongly opposed by Democrats

Because he has been presented by the media as a villian since the 70's. My father said at the time, they took him down because he ended the Vietnam war.

Whatever one wishes to say about Richard Nixon, he is, without question, the most intelligent president I have ever watched on video -- and keep in mind, I wasn't born until 1981.

He went behind Johnson’s back and told the South Vietnamese to wait until the election to make a deal. He then bombed Cambodia into the Stone Age.

He was an impetus type in a way. Some leave a mild legacy, as they did little to alter the status quo or shift the zeitgeist. Others, through their actions, principally alter society and how it is viewed. You must have an opinion on this type and their legacy to exist in society.

Parallels with Trump for those of us who lived both: he emphasized division, moral majority against 'elites', compounded with the hubris of flamboyant dishonesty. Many saw his fall as divine justice and it overwhelms appreciation of his positive qualities and geopolitical acumen

Becauae they are evil, godless, communist swine.

He was so real for this

I suspect the view of Nixon has softened by 2024. After seeing the crap the Dems have done to Trump since 2016, it makes Watergate seem like child’s play.
